Dadash and his wife were exceptional hosts. They are both dedicated to the preservation and celebration of their unique Lahij culture. They provided us with an excellent dinner cooked by our hostess, and a live performance of traditional Lahij and Azerbaijani singing. Dadash has published scholarly books about regional folklore, and he is a wealth of knowledge, and very kind. We felt totally welcome. The house is quite lovely, very modest, but comfortable and perfect for my two cousins and myself. You will not regret staying in this very special traditional home.

I booked this place because of reviews. However I was disappointed from the first time we arrived at this place. The cottage complex is located in Pirgulu around 30 min from the center of Shamakhi. Since the premise is located on the top of the mountain I don’t recommend this place for families with little babies. We couldn’t even walk with child outdoor. The only thing we liked about the hotel was kind staff and fresh weather. Hotel manager Nasimi was helpful and waitress Amrah also tried to help us. Continental breakfast was also ok.

Beautifully located domes, right in the middle of the mountains. Dome was clean and very comfortable. View from the dome was outstanding. Owners were very cooperative and supper friendly. Note: To reach to the domes there is 10 minute off-road drive, 4x4 is required to reach the domes.
