Very kind and welcoming host. I could not speak to the rest of the family but Izzet is fluent in English, which was great for interesting conversations during dinner. I got enormous amounts of mostly local food - some of which I liked and others I didn’t. That’s part of the experience! Also, the bed was very comfortable and there are extra blankets when it’s cold. WiFi is also surprisingly good. I did an extra afternoon activity (50 Manat) where we got driven up the river on the back of a GAZ-66 truck, did a little hike to a waterfall and made some tea with snacks. I can highly recommend this!

The experience at Zaur's house with his family was fantastic. The place takes your breath away and they treated us with great kindness and hospitality. It is not a luxurious place, but that is precisely the charm of it. It is worth spending a night in such a privileged environment with a family and in a typical house in the mountains of the Azeri Caucasus. Zaur also offered us taxi service to and from Quba. I recommend the experience!

Breakfast was ok. If someone asks me how the breakfast was I would NOT say it was good. Pomidor yumurta almost had no egg in it. It was kind of a pomidor pomidor.
