Beautiful place, top quality throughout. Everything provided and the attention to detail was amazing. Very short 5 minute walk up the hill to Shipka Church which is stunning. Host was very pleasant and gave us information about the local amenities.

In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the sights around the town. The responsive staff advises us on how to get around everything so that we don't waste our time and where they cook the most deliciously so that we don't go astray. Luckily for us, the place to eat turned out to be no more than 15 minutes from the hotel itself. The short walk between the hotel and the restaurant gives an opportunity to see a small part of the city, revealing part of its unique charm. On the negative side of things, I would be hard pressed to describe any. I would be lying to myself if I said we experienced any kind of inconvenience.Simeon MihaylovBulgaria - 10Scored 10

Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you can visit the Thracian Thombs / tumulus that was excavated until now, you can visit the Roses Fields (if you are there in June / July) and the Roses oil museum in Kazanlak, do not forget to visit also the beautiful Shipka Orthodox Church. And of course, Buzludha and Socialis Torch monuments, also the Shipka Peek monument need to be visited!

The Shipka Memorial Church is absolutely magnificent, and its golden domes can be seen from miles away. While you are there do go down to the crypt to see photos of it being built and of its inaugeration in 1902, and you can read about it in Bulgarian and English. It was started in 1855 and completed in 1902. You have a choice of three ways to get to it: 1. up about 160 stone steps. 2. up the road to the right of the steps that leads to a zigzag path to it. 3. drive up the steep cobbled road to the left of the steps to a parking area with souvenir shops and a fruit stall, then walk up a few steps to the church and a small restaurant and another souvenir shop.JohnSouth Africa

We had a view of the monastery with the golden domes… which was a short stroll from the hotel Truly spectacular. The food was lovely with and frequented by the locals. The village is a nice place for a quiet stroll full of flowers and bird song. It is a good base to visit the Thracian tombs of the kings which dot the valley and do not miss driving into the mountains to visit the monolith …. Unforgettable stay….😎

Apparently the communist elite used to stay at the hotel when visiting the monument. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent.
