The village is plain, there is only the memorial house of Dan Kulov to visit, but the guest house has a restaurant, a garden, a terrace, a playground and parking space in front. The kid was happy to have many other kids around. The food is fresh, homemade and a lot of people come to eat here. All staff speaks good English. The room is actually a bedroom, a hall and a bathroom. Beds are comfy and it is quiet in the rooms. I liked the design of the fireplace in the restaurant. On the reservation, breakfast was 10 leva/person, but we paid for what we ordered (maybe there was a fixed breakfast that was 10lv but we did not ask) . All in all it was a nice stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. We got a view at the back of the hotel, which was not impressive, but still good enough - trees and fresh air. No balcony :( The staff was accommodating, the food was tasty, there was some event during our stay and there was a DJ in the restaurant - the music was a bit loud and we had to speak up to hear each other, but we still had a good time. Breakfast was not included in our rate, so we had the choice from a breakfast menu - traditional Bulgarian food - tasty too.

The owners of the place are nice, accommodating people. I had a phone reception and the wi-fi was enough for the rudimentary things like sending messages, but it took some time to send/receive files. My husband was using his paid data to work remotely. Food was very tasty, albeit we are used to bigger portions, especially for breakfast. Thankfully one can order some more food from the menu. We stayed just for a few days, so we were fine with that. It's nice that we were able to have a vegetarian choice of dishes (for the dinner included in the stay) - they were really thoughtfully prepared and tasted great. Sashko is a nice cook! We loved the animals - especially Berta who stole our hearts and who was accompanying us on our daily walks. But all the 4 cats were also wonderful to have around. It's very green, refreshing and cool there during the summer, and one can enjoy walking a lot among the amazing beech forest and along the mountain spring(s).
