This was my first stay at the Seaside Hotel, and it definitely won't be my last. Why?
1. The Seaside Hotel is easily reached from YVR Airport via the Skytrain and Seabus ( a quick ferry ride from Waterfront to Lonsdale Quay)
2. The Lonsdale Quay location offers a great selection for shopping, restaurants, the summer Friday Night Market with live music, food trucks, vendors, and stunning views of the Vancouver skyline. The waterfront has a long pier perfect for evening strolls to watch spectacular sunsets.
3. The Seaside is a beautifully designed hotel, with those extra touches that make for a great stay.

Love North Vancouver and the proximity to the mountains, North Vancouver areas and the beautiful views.
There are many places that could be visited, but I prefer to go further North or East, if not downtown Vancouver.
The traffic over Lions Gate bridge at Rush Hour is terrible, and recommend travelling in a different time if possible.

The house is new and clean. Owner (Michael) is so nice, you can socialize with him pleasantly. The place's view is amazing. Water is running 7x24 in the river stream, which you can see from your rooms.
North Vancouver is for people loving outdoor activities such as hiking and going to beaches. The house is not far (15-minute driving) from the downtown of Vancouver.

For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. Otherwise the facilities met with our previous expectations. lovely view and great kitchen facilities with several breakfast options.

North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

Fantastic location in North Vancouver, with easy access to Highway 1, the city and the hills. Very peaceful and plenty of places to relax away from other guests. Lots of space in our room / office and the beds were comfy.
Instructions to be quiet and to respect other guests' and neighbours' peace were clear and repeated, which was very welcome. This is absolutely not somewhere to stay if you want a party
The room provided what I required, which was to have a kitchen. The room and kitchen were very clean. The kitchen, although small, had the all of the basic necessities required. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. My room door wasn't locking and they promptly took care of this. I love the location on Capiliano Rd as well. Easy access to downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver.
The view of the harbor was excellent.
The bed was very comfortable.
It was close to many activities and within walking distance of a number of decent restaurants.
Capilano Suspension Bridge was a 15 minute drive from the hotel and Grouse Mountain was 20 minutes away.
The people cleaning our room were very good and we had fresh towels and a clean bathroom every day.
A very individual guest house with a lovely warm welcome from proprietor, Margaret - who makes excellent breakfasts! everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Great location in north Vancouver near craft breweries, restaurants, boutiques and really easy to get the water bus to the city.
Awesome location by the water, good views. E bike rental place right across the street with overnight rentals for some fun night life; there was also an event directly across the hotel doors at the pier while we stayed there which was awesome too.
Clean rooms, and overall a great experience.
Located in a peaceful area at North Vancouver and near to some tourist attraction in North Vancouver (Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse mountain).
Easy to travel by bus since the bus stop very close to Hotel. Breakfast was okay.
From some room there is partial mountain view.
Conveniently located in North Vancouver (Just Off Lion’s Gate Bridge). We wanted to explore the mountain more this time and decided to stay in North Vancouver; this is the best location for that purpose. It is also very close to Stanley Park and Downtown Vancouver
I loved that it wasn’t just the same old boring hotel! It was super fun staying in the harbor. It was a short walk to the Seabus they took us right downtown Vancouver!! 10 min drive to the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge hike. We couldn’t asked for more.
The view from our room was spectacular. It was strange before we located the place as it is in the middle of the north Vancouver suburbs. The choice of breakfast cereals was immense and everything you needed to make yourself a good meal.
The property is exceptionally clean and very well organized. It is located in North Vancouver, not far away from the Downtown but in distant and quiet area. Michael is very open and friendly person
Great property - would have happily lived in it :-) - well stocked, super clean and very comfortable. location is great for North Vancouver, particularly as we wanted to visit Lynn Valley
Fantastic place in North Vancouver with a bus stop in walking distance to making travel into the city a breeze, with brilliant home support that helped me through any issue i had.
