We booked and paid for two nights but we only stayed one night as the access is vey difficut. It is not easy to drive all the way at night or even during the day . We had to book another hotel down in the valley to avoid driving back again at night. The hotel management and Booking should give better information about the difficulties of accessing this hotel specially for those who are not familiar with this area.

Hotel Waldrand is located in Pochtenalp, just a 5-minute drive from Lake Tschingelsee. The rooms impress with their traditional ambience and mountain views.

Wonderful location full of atmosphere and charm but watch out for low beams. Well supplied (including mineral water and a plate of chocolates as a welcome on the kitchen table). All very clean and host very amenable and friendly. Well kitted-out kitchen and lots of activities in the area. Cheery neighbours! One piece of advice: read the instructions on finding the property carefully given by the owner - don't use google maps (as you end up in completely the wrong area of the village).
