The owner was extremely warm and friendly. The room was very well appointed and comfortable, and the location was great. (To be fair, in a place as small as Turtmann the location could hardly be bad, but being right by the church was lovely.) Breakfast was fantastic consisting of absolutely delicious local produce (very local!!). We were able to make tea and coffee in the kitchen area and had our own shelf in the fridge which was a very good idea and much apprecicated. I would be very happy indeed to stay here again.
The Hotel Alex enjoys a quiet location in Leukerbad, and via the hotel lift, guests enjoy direct access to the village centre and to the Torrentbahn Cable Car.
