The place is amazing - great for solo travelers and couples. It’s name states perfectly what it is an exquisite tower, well furnished and located in Visp.
We had a meeting with my husband this morning, so the location was key to us, but we were surprised to find also a well furnished appartement were we could stay for longer than just one night.

I'm glad I found this property. Very underrated. I'd love to stay here again for a few days the next time I visit Switzerland.

Visp is a small town, and doesnt offer much in terms of tourist attractions. But it does have some exceptional dining options. The one I particularly liked was "Restautant Fux" which has a fantastic dining menu and drinks :-) Other notable restaurants worth a visit are: Restaurant La Poste, Staldbach and Restaurant Elite If hotels in Zermatt or Saas-Fee are sold out, then Visp would be one the ideal places to stay. In Visp, I would recommend Hotel Elite or Hotel Baxter as one of the best options to stay.RAJATIndia - 6.0Scored 6.0

Would be dead, like the Welsh valleys, if it wasn't for Lonza A.G. The trainstation however is very well served and is a jumping-off point for Saas Fee and Zermatt. There is a regular express train to/from Romanshorn, which calls at Bern and Zürich. The main/only real road, Kanton Strasse, runs almost the length of the Rhone valley.

a perfect location for visiting the Matterhorn at Zermatt also the excellent Furka Pass steam railway at Realp. Very boring. Not much to do or to see. Not many shops either. The only good part is, Visp is the Base for the Train going to Zermatt. All Visp Hotels are in walking distance from the Train station.

I used Visp as a base for travels in the region, including Zermatt. Visp has enough places to eat and shop if you want to. It is well connected by rail. If you buy a regional travel card rail excursions are free (after you have paid for the card) and discounts are available on some attractions. I found this worthwhile.

We stayed here unexpectedly when my husband had a ski accident requiring surgery at the nearby Visp Hospital. The patio was really great when you needed some fresh air.

Since normal rooms were sold out, I ordered a simple group room for my own use, very nice bed, and very clean. Good common toilet and shower, very few other were using them this night.
