Simply fantastic. Wonderful staff, very helpful and accommodating. Each pod has its own jacuzzi, super secluded, you cannot hear/see your neighbors. Outside showers are perfectly maintained and the toilet seat is even heated!!! Little trails across the campground with lots of birds. Restaurant on site is delicious and the swimming pool is gorgeous. Very little bugs around, which is nice.

When making your reservation, ask for the biggest cottage possible. Its all uphill and sometimes rainy and foggy when making your way here, and stay on the road ALL THE WAY UP TO WHERE IT ENDS, at the reception, restaurant lodge. This restaurant was a total surprise. The food and service was exceptional. I vote for Jean Carlo as best hotel/restaurant host in the whole country.

Going into the city of Quesada was a good experience.
Going into the city of Quesada was a good experience. We got to see the little town with it’s shops & little supermarket were you can buy fruits & other things you may be craving. You have to be careful when you’re walking though, a lot of the sidewalks are uneven & some areas may have some little rocks on the ground. I suggest wearing some comfortable shoes when walking into town.
I was extremely fortunate to picked such a beautiful Hotel Palo Alto Glamping. It was the perfect choice to celebrate my Birthday, an important milestone in my life and most grateful for Chef BRYAN to make my birthday dinner so special. I need to mention these individuals Georgiana and Anthony who make all the tours coordination and provided excellent service..
I will cherish my 3 days adventure forever and I would definitively comeback again.
Thank you Palo Alto 100% recommended.
The location itself is a destination! We slept in a transparent glamping, it was stunning (you can admire a sky full of stars in the night and the sunrise will wake you up). Nature and colors look in HR. Amazing!
We woke up with sunrise lights, the glamping has a transparent roof, but it's part of the game.
The hotel is pretty far from the main road but easy to reach through a feasible unpaved road (we didn't have a 4*4).
This was a beautiful location where you can truly enjoy the nature and the fresh air. You can see the Arenal volcano from the patio while having breakfast. The pets, Luna and Kitti, were so friendly and made us feel at home. The hiking path behind the hotel was exciting and scary at the same time. The town close-by, Ciudad Quesada was very convenient, drinks and food were non-tourist prices and people were very friendly.
Everything! The hotel was perfectly clean. It was very comfortable and the staff went way above and beyond what other hotels would do to help you! They point out restaurants and other interesting places in the city. A big thank you to Gina, her mother and brother (the owners) with helping me with a medical emergency! I cannot say enough about these wonderfully kind people and the hotel!
The hotel is situated in a beautiful rural setting , surrounded by abundant green pastures. The cabins and glamping tents are all separated from one another so there is great privacy. It is a family run business and each of them is very personable and so willing to explain things about the surroundings. Meals were delicious, including an abundant breakfast.
Wow, this location was gorgeous and far more beautiful than we could've expected. Overall a fantastic value; we were impressed at how affordable not only the room was, but also the hotel restaurant. This was one of the most relaxing and tranquil locations we've ever been to, and the staff were all so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located at the heart of Ciudad Quesada, just a short walk away from the central park. There are banks, bakeries, markets and restaurants, all within a waking distance. It is perfect if you need to stay near the city of Ciudad Quesada. There are also many tourist attractions nearby. Free parking is a big plus.
Very sweet and accommodating staff. The room was clean and nice. It had a very beautiful view. The pool was clean and lovely. The breakfast was really good. Their WiFi worked flawlessly. The hotel and restaurant had the most beautiful view. Would recommend this little paradise at any time.
