This is a simple, clean, plain hotel situated on a busy road near the attractive main square but with very quiet rooms at the back facing a garden and park, with a huge balcony. The rooms are large, the breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. The situation for walking to Mala Skala was excellent, as well as having convenient train travel to nearby towns. We dined at Puku Bistro, round the corner, and also walked down a pretty river walk to the inn Abeluv Mlyn, which took about 20 minutes. There is a Tesco a few minutes away which is well-stocked,

This hotel is probably the best one I've ever stayed in the Czech Republic. It's retro atmosphere is entirely a time capsule, with stylish fittings and furniture. The staff is extremely nice and the breakfast is just the perfect way to start the morning. I totally recommend it and I really hope the owners will preserve it's charm forever.

Large room with good facilities. Nice breakfast facilities. Great location in the centre of town. Friendly staff who spoke English. Lovely local produce which is used for breakfast and you can buy these to take home too. Large beds and clean bathroom. Towels changed each day if needed. Reasonably priced mini bar.
