A charming little town with a fairly vibrant walking zone...
A charming little town with a fairly vibrant walking zone for it's size. A good stop over when visiting bigger cities to the North. A few good later evening dining choices. There are even a few German food places open late not just Kebab houses. Of course those are on hand as well.
The Hotel Manager was friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and clean. As we spent most of our trips visiting the beach and sightseeing, we only needed the room to sleep in so it suited our purpose perfectly. Hotel was central with restaurants and entertainment near by.
The room was spacious and bed clothing soft. Breakfast offered a nice variation of food - cold and warm. There is quite a big parking on the hotel premises (costs 3,50€/day) but it is also possible to park along the quiet road close-by.
We checked out one day earlier and they paid one day back. That’s what I didn’t expect that and was really nice of them. Also the hotel is between Lübeck and Hamburg and it’s a good location if tourists want to see both cities
We needed to stop on our way back from a ferry trip to Scandinavia. The hotel was perfectly located and had a big convenient parking slot . They accomodated for late check in.
Breakfast buffet was Ok for the price paid.
Excellent room separated from main building. Well-ventilated, clean, comfortable bed. Was able to wash cycling clothes and dry them. Breakfast was great. I had dinner at the hotel and it was good as well.
Very friendly host, parking next to the hotel. The beds were great, couldn't hear any noise from the road. Breakfast had all one would expect for a German breakfast. Everything was great 👍
I came by car at the early evening, the receptionist/owner was very friendly. The room was small but very cosy; the bed was very comfortable. In all, I highly recommend this hotel!
One night stay with family, needed hotel close to A1. Very good value for money. Clean and rather large rooms. Free parking on the backside of the hotel.
