A few quaint corners but generally much more modern than some of the more mediaeval centred towns. However pleasant to wander around and with a mile or so strip of parkland a long the river frontage.
Good selection of restaurants including some on the waterfront. A number of boat trips available and only five minutes by ferry to the rather more picturesque Rudesheim. This latter has old cobbled winding streets, a cable car to an outstanding viewpoint and an apparently interesting mechanical music museum which however is fully booked on some days by tour parties.

We were right off the Rhein River and many of our group's rooms had great views and it was pretty quiet. I was on the 4th floor and had to bend over for a view. The hallway windows had great views of the castle behind us! The location was excellent and if we went on a ferry the stop was very close. We walked to dinner in the center of town. Great stay!

Very versatile and beautiful area: historic scenery, sight seeing, gastronomy, shopping, hiking. We should rent a car next time to see more.
As I used to go to school here 30 years ago it was a nice back in time visit.

Great place to book a boat trip which was inexpensive - only 20 Euros. We rented bicycles at the hotel and paid a bit extra to take them up the River with us and then rode back 29 km to Bingen from Goar. Also we had a wonderful tour of the castle in Goar.

The location was excellent for our bike tour. The hotel is maintained with great care. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped (e.g., fridge, air conditioner, window blind). The mattress was very convenient. The bathroom was modernly renovated. The hotel keeper was very helpful. We could store our bikes in the closed yard of the hotel.
The reception staff were welcoming and helpful.
We hadn't warned that we were arriving on bicycles but we were shown where we could park them in an unsecure room (unused bar) in the hotel. Also with power for ebikes.
Location is great, can walk straight out along the Rhine bank or into town, plenty of car parking and 5 mins walk to station.
A very new and beautiful hotel with many surprising corner for shots. Very instagramable . And it’s has a very relaxing view which makes your stay very enjoying and relaxed. Too bad was in a rush for other places so didn’t manage to see all the facilities . Definitely will be back again . So in love with it .
Cleanliness is superb. The room is decorated well and stylish even it's a part of Church area. The bed is comfortable. The staffs and breakfasts are very nice. The hotel located in the high area of Bingen which allows you to have a great view to the Rhein river. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel!
A wonderful traditional hotel. It is situated right near the river with excellent restaurants within walking distance. The highlight of the day, however, was the excellent breakfast that was served in the morning. Excellent food an excellent service all the way through.
We knew that the hotel was a good location, but didn't realize how close it was to the Rhine, boat service, and walking to Klopp Castle and other sites. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. Wish we had planned an even longer stay!
Owner was very nice lady. Able to park motorbikes right outside hotel. Good basic breakfast, plenty of tea/coffee. Very large bedroom, dated but very clean.
The jewish graveyard is only a short walk from hotel and well worth a visit .
The host, Herr Bungert, was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was tasty and filling, served in a charming room. We enjoyed this family run, comfortable, small hotel, and would stay here again if we returned to Bingen am Rhine.
The hotel and a real family feel and is a lovely old building with lots of character. You cannot eat there on an evening. But the breakfast was first class.
It is only a short walk to a vinyard and a camping plaza for food.
Lovely hotel near the centre of Bingen. Both rail stations are walking distance and the river is a short walk away. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. Bed was comfy and shower very powerful. Will most definitely stay again.
The hotel is in an excellent location near the train station and ferries. Room was small but very well organized. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great. Super value for the money. Would highly recommend
The employees of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I asked for an extra pillow and they put it in my room. There was always someone in the reception greeting or asking if we need something.
