I liked how close I was situated to the Lausitz Arena for the gymnastics competition I was down for.
The communication with the property owner was brilliant and she was very helpful.
Me and my mum had a really good time.
I’ll definitely be back here again. 😁

A beautiful historical town. Especially the Market Square.
A beautiful historical town. Especially the Market Square. The streets and buildings retain their old character, just as if you would take the city of 1935 and give it some modern paint. This feels very interesting.
Also, there are some (fortunately, not too many) buildings from the DDR era, which makes the city even more interesting.
The city is very green and there are a lot of beautiful old trees.
The university area is well organized, you can have quite a good lunch in the Mensa at excellent prices.
We have also tried "Der Stadtwächter" restaurant, and the food (and beer) was just great.
The city is also interesting due to the Sorbian heritage. There are biligual street signs, and some institutions, e.g. the Lodka, where you can buy Sorbian books, souvenirs, try talking Polish/Czech/Sorbian to the people in these institutions. I think it is important that the tourists, especially from Slavic countries come and ask about it.

We planned to see the Spreewald.
We planned to see the Spreewald. When choosing the location of accommodation, we focused on the most popular addresses: Luben, Lubennau, Cottbus. The first two turned out to be small, very touristic villages with nothing specific to offer. Cottbus (Chociebuż) is a big city with a very nice old town and good restaurants. We were very pleased with the choice

There are some lovely parks within the city and in the vicinity. Unfortunately, probably because of the weather and the season, there wasn't much opportunity to eat in the fresh air. We mainly walked around the city, which is quite compact.

Picteresque city with a lot of parks and entertainments. City centre is full of cafes and shops, there is a nice park railway (Parkeisenbahn) that connects stadium, zoo and park Branitz - children will be delighted.

Cottbus is a significant city in the Lausitz region.
Cottbus is a significant city in the Lausitz region. One of the things we wanted to see was the Wendishes (Sorb) Museum, they were closed to enable changing the exhibits. We had good food and saw some interesting sights. It is close to the Spreewald as well.
The apartment was extremely light and bright, with lovely clean white walls and high ceilings! Beautiful to wake up to or enjoy the afternoon sun. It was a comfortable space for three, with a large living area, bedroom and spacious bathroom. Perfect spot to stay if you're visiting Cottbus. Right near one of the main squares with restaurants and cafes and a short walk to other local areas. Super fast and easy communication about getting into the apartment and the agent helped promptly with any questions.
Lindner Congress Hotel Cottbus is a great place to stay in Cottbus. All and every one of the staff is there to help you sincerely and, with a smiling face.
The location of the hotel is the best it can be. Right in the center of the city, close to the Alte Markt and all new stores, restaurants and also to the BTU (if your family members are to attend there).
Lindner Congress Hotel Cottbus is and will be our de facto choice whenever we will visit Cottbus.
The apartment is nicely appointed, although it looks larger in the pictures than it is in reality. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything needed, there is even a bean-to-cup coffee maker. I did prepare some meals, but had to buy some kitchen essentials. I don't know if there is a hygiene law in effect, but all the usual cooking spoons, spatulas, etc that are customarily made from wood were absent. Dishwasher is a big plus.
The hotel serves a fabulous breakfast, great choice of fruits, ham and cheese. I have been here twice now and the breakfast never disappoints. Also dinner in the restaurant is superb. Staff is very kind and helpful too. I arrived late at 9pm and the kitchen was about to close and the receptionist ask the kitchen to stay open for a few more minutes so that I could order dinner ;) very much appreciated. Also free parking on site.
Property is very spacious and modern, with a very large couch that doubles as a bed, a well-equiped kitchen with an amazing coffee machine (with beans in cupboard), and large bathroom with the most amazing shower I've ever come across. It's also conveniently located a 12min walk from Cottbus train station and a short walk to the theatre (Cottbus Staatstheater). Also it had free wi-fi :)
The room was nice and everything was perfect. The center of Cottbus is nearby the place and also the Haubanthopf too. Also if you want to access the tram, it is not far away and it is nearby too. If anyone wants to visit BTU or Cottbus, I highly recommend you this place. The price was worth it.
Very nice hostel close to the city centre. Just a block away from the square in old town.
Very nice rooms in a historical building. Nice park behind the building.
The apartment is perfect, great location, very clean and fully equipped kitchen. It will be my first choice when I visit Cottbus again. I highly recommended.
Nice place for a short stay in Cottbus! Close to central square, with parking spot.
Large apartment for 5 people, comfy beds, good Wi-Fi, Coffee Machine.
