This place is full of charm and character... it's easy to find, decent parking and pet friendly. The rooms are superb, large and comfortable with kitchen facilities. The beds are the most comfortable ive ever slept in! The bathroom is very well designed and equipped. The courtyard is perfect for a quick doggy exercise. Breakfast was superb! The town a short drive away has amazing restaurants too. A really superb place for a relaxing break or stop over.
This hotel enjoys a peaceful yet easily accessible location, close to the A2 motorway and just a short walk from Helmstedt’s attractive Old Town.

The location is a few minutes off the highway, yet right next to the highway (you circle back to it), so we recommend upgrading to a room facing the other direction.

Nice and cozy place to stay, a bit sorry we only stayed for one night but we were homebound from a trip in Austria / Italy, great location not exactly along the motorway but on a good route from A9 connecting to A21 towards Hamburg / Denmark, and i always try to stay in smaller places, much nicer, and this was no exception, very nice and comfy room, friendly staff, good food in the restaurant and also great breakfast, , easy to find parking. Tip: a walk along the canal and around the village is a must do!
