The room was fine. The restaurant was great. My only reason for not giving a higher mark, was the lack of facilities in the room. I would have expected tea and coffee making facilities and a bottle of water on arrival. Would I stay there again? Most certainly.

Large spotless room, good food, friendly service, nice outside terrace for dining.. Care : we arrived on Saturday to start bike ride along Donau. Restaurant was very quiet on Saturday evening but we returned 8 days later at Sunday lunchtime and we had to wait for a table.

An attractive granite built hotel full of character converted from former farm buildings in a quiet location situated within the Bavarian Forest. The bedroom located in a separate building was spacious with a balcony and open views across the countryside. For dinner the menu had a good choice of meals made with local products.
