The room was small, modern and comfortable, bathroom likewise. Breakfast was fresh and good, homemade bread and jam are an extra and the evening meal was very good. The view over looking the lake was an added extra:)

Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

The hotel was in great location but the other parameters were bad - the service was bad ' the staff were not nice and not ready to help , the breakfast was very poor - we were exttremely dissapointed of this hotel as it had great recommendations which turned our not to be true !!!
Feldberg as a town was not an interesting place and there was nothing there to see or do - maybe for children but not for couples !!!

We hiked there in July- views were tremendous on all sides, and enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain. There were some easy walking routes and cemented paths making it easy for children or those without good hiking shoes. And there were also paths which were rocky and steeper for the more able hikers.

A beautiful city to explore in.
A beautiful city to explore in. The highlands of the black forest is nature at its best. We are not professional hikers and didn't have the right shoes but nevertheless we walked and saw a lot of places on foot. Starting from the House of Nature, we rode the cable car to the Bismarck monument and onward to the summit. What a spectacular view from there of the alps and the black forest. Then we ventured the tracks going down to the Feldsee,a serene place. As we just stayed a night there, we only had the chance to see these places. We shall be back and stay longer next time.
Bare bones room. Clean, nice small bathroom, but there was only a bed and table in the room. No TV, and WIFI was HORRIBLE if you could connect. Cell reception was poor in the area for telecom users. Breakfast (10 euros per person) was a nice buffet, however, you had to clean your table and dishes. Top floor was only accessible by stairs. This is a FAMILY retreat hotel, which is great for families, but not older travelers. Restaurants are 2k's (25 min) away and very good but the walk back up the hill can be tiring after a day of hiking.
This place is AMAZING
I traveled with my husband and our 2 kids. This place had everything we needed. A beautiful apartment with a green forest view to the backyard. The backyard had some games for the kids and a small trampoline which kept them busy when we enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The host was super nice and very helpful with tips. Even did our laundry because the one in our apartment building was broken.
Löffelschmiede and Hotel Heizmann Hof are from the same proprietor. Rooms and bathrooms in Löffelschmiede are little small. Due to some reason they had to adjust our between both the hotels which are about in 1 KM distance. They have informed us about the changes in advance. And adjusted our firs night in Heizmann Hof. Heizmann Hof is superior in every aspect.
The flat had everything one could possibly need. Chairs were big and comfortable, nice decor, perfect location. It is a few minutes drive to Feldberg hiking course (Haus der Natur), and about 30 minutes to Wutachschlucht. Private parking was available. Host was perfect, super nice & fastest reply! Would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was indeed superb, the staff incredibly friendly, the sauna was amazing and I don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel this clean!! I need to point out, they had not one or two but three different vegan milk choices at breakfast. THREE!! For comparison, in Badeparadies restaurant, they had none :)
We were riding the Gipfeltrail with mtb. This hotel was our first stop, we started from Neustadt. It is on the route and it is all you want and need. Breakfast with a nice fire place. The room is large with balcony, the shower is big enough for 2, the view is beautiful and the staff is more than great.
The hotel was amazing! A perfect escape from city life. The breakfast and dinner were great. We were travelling without cars and the hosts were incredibly nice to pick us up from the train station and drop us back.
Will definitely be visiting again!
Stayed in hotel for a week during July.
Great family rooms, spacious, modern and well organized.
Nice breakfast with a selection of fruit, vegetables, cheese and bread.
Great (and fairly priced) laundry service.
Feldberg is conveniently located.
The only thing that we appreciated has been the kindness of the lady who received us upon arrival. Unfortunately, her kindness has been completely overshadowed by the rude behaviour of the owner of the hotel.
Hotel Diana is a great place to stay. Affordable, comfortable and close to Titisee (a beautiful lake). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was simple but there was everything you needed.
The hotel's location is great, it has a nice pool and spa area, the breakfast was excellent, a variety of choices and the stuff were very nice and friendly.
