It was clean, spacious and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly since we were stranded in Munich due to heavy snow. They helped us to find a taxi and were willing to host us further. Breakfast was tasty.

Lovely trees in front of area. Warm welcome and helpful manager. Easy place to settle. Breakfast had good variety of options and was plentiful. WiFi was fine. A nice faded grandeur feeling which I liked. Onsite italian restaurant was good and there is a nice Greek restaurant in walking distance.
Set in a quiet location on the outskirts of Munich, yet close to Untermenzing S-Bahn (suburban rail) station, this charming hotel offers delightful accommodation in a Bavarian country style.

Perfect location , lovely rooms and breakfast
Very convenient for the train about a 10 min walk to station with train direct to Munich in 15mins. Great car parking.
This charming hotel offers spacious accommodation on the north-western outskirts of Münich, close to the train station and A99 motorway, and just a 20-minute train journey from the city centre.

Very friendly staff, huge rain shower, was very nice at the end of a long day. Close to a hotspot for lime scooters, so accessible to go to the city. Nature is pretty close so are many restaurants. Our rooms were cleaned every day, a big thumbs up to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was ok.
we have a free but limited outdoor parking, garage can cost extra, this family-run hotel lies in the Obermenzing district, a 20-minute train ride from Munich city centre.
This family-run hotel enjoys a quiet location in Bergkirchen, a 30-minute drive north of Munich city centre. Gasthof Groß features a traditional restaurant serving Bavarian and international cuisine.

Second time we stayed there and still satisfied. The different eating/dining rooms with a slightly different feel are a bonus. Although we didn't sit in the 'Biergarten' this time, it is a wonderful area. Although we arrived early, really at the end of breakfast time, we were invited to still have breakfast. Perhaps we were lucky but we were also allowed to occupy the room. Still as quite as before. Due to an oversight we were charged the room twice. We were reimbursed within days.
Nice, clean room and bathroom. We liked the fact that the room had window doors to the outside area, so we could sit outside in the green. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated outside Munich in a small town called Gröbenzell, but has good connection to public transport into Munich. In Gröbenzell it is not too far from supermarkets and a few restaurants. Enough parking space outside the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived 2 h early and the lovely receptionist made the effort to come and let us check in.
The hotel lies at 5 minutes walk from the railway station where every half an hour or so a train goes to (or comes from) Munich. We used a private parking place (but there are very few of them).
Staff was friendly at breakfast time (we got in collecting the key with a code and reception was not manned when we got back after dinner).
Very friendly staff and always ready to help!
Very clean!
Super high price performance ratio!
Easy to park cars!
Perfect location to visit Munich even its downtown.
Great Italian restaurant nearby
Big supermarkets like Kaufland, ECenter, DM, Aldi, Lidl can be reached by foot despite that this Hotel is located in an industry area.
