Stunning view, friendly, service-minded staff, excellent facilities. The location can normally only be reached by a funicular. When heavy winds prevented its operation, as we were about to leave, the hotel organized a car to take us down to the valley (on a path that only experienced drivers would be able to use). Kudos to the driver and the hotel.

The Darchinger Hof was built in 1811 and is located between the Holzkirchen and Wayern exits and near the A8 motorway. The parking lot at Weidmossweg is right next to the hotel and is free.

It is a cosy location with easy self check-in. Kitchen did not work (not yet season) but they made sure we had all that we needed for a good stay. I would love to see it during the season when everything works, but even with reduced workload it was still great.
