The staff were lovely and welcoming and the old building is attractive and dignified. Breakfast was very good. Best of all was the location in the amazing old town of Laguardia, set on a hilltop in the heart of Rioja Alicante. We could easily reach the Balcon de Rioja (fantastic views) and the beautiful, quiet mountains of the Sierra de la Demanda. Don’t miss Frank Gehry’s funky hotel en route. The other amazing Bodega, Ysios, can be seen from the eastern car park for the town. Also watching town clock on the hour is quite a thing.

Specially Terri went above and beyond to make our stay a nice trip with all the reservations (I felt I knew her even before I arrived).
