Situated in the centre of the island of Menorca, the Hotel Loar Ferreries boasts a lovely rural setting, located in the small town of Ferreries, between Es Mercadal and Ciutadella.

I wanted to see locations in the middle of the Island. Loar Ferreries is a very good hotel to view these locationis.
Moreover they had a booklet that gave me some suggestions.
They have two swimming pools and a jacuzzi; outdoor is on the roof; indoor is near the restaurant; this you would not expect of a hotel in the city center, but is was very nice.
HOTEL ANHEL features accommodation in Ferreries. Each room comes with city views. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, rooms at the hotel also boast free WiFi.

Small and beautiful hotel in the center, close to the free parking. Right next to the entrance, on the ground floor, there was a coffee/tea machine and free water. In our room it was a small fridge. Self-checking.
This stylishly restored 19th-century hotel is in the village of Ferreries.

This may have been the best boutique hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything from the location, the atmosphere, the design, the service and the room, were truly exceptional. Ignasi made us feel immediately welcome and he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was deeply memorable. He provided us with extensive local information and hosted us with sensitivity, kindness and warmth. His team also did an incredible job and we felt totally at home during our stay. The room was immaculate with great views across Ferreries, the gardens and courtyard were simply stunning and the location was hugely convenient for accessing key areas across the island. Parking slightly out of town was no issue at all (literally a few minutes walk) and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring some of the hiking trails on the doorstep. This is a beautiful hotel with an inspiring ethos of art, culture and sustainability and we are truly grateful to have found such an exquisite haven. We will be back!
This restored country house is a 4-star rural hotel, with a seawater pool and free Wi-Fi. Hotel Binigaus Vell is less than 3 km from Binigaus and Sant Tomas Beach.
Globales Lord Nelson is located in Menorca centre, overlooking the beautiful Santo Tomás. Guests have direct access to the beach.

Es Migjorn Gran is a beautiful little village, S'Estil·let is a really lovely intimate little hotel with a relaxed and welcoming feel. The host is lovely, the breakfast delicious and the rooms very comfortable.
Offering a spa centre and sauna, Seth 55 Santo Tomas is set in Es Migjorn Gran. The hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Great facilities and views.
Good location in a small village, couple of nice and quiet beaches nearby.

it is a good location if you want to visit the center of Menorca.
I walked around Ferreries; it is absolutely not touristic but you have a number of shops and can find what you want, near or in the center.
One bar even had Guiness, my favorite beer.

Fairly quiet in first week of October but that's what I like. Some bars very close, restaurants too, plus 2 reasonable supermarkets. Decent bus links although restricted on Sunday. The Ferreries football stadium is modern and modest. A small town so you can't really get lost (had a good try though!). The town had a slightly end-of-season feel so personally I'd go again a tad earlier, maybe 2nd half September. I found food relatively expensive but maybe i'm just mean :). Yes' I plan to go again!

If you're planning to explore the island by car/bike, Ferreries is perfect. However, if you plan to be stationned in one place for a longer period, than, I'd recomend a bigger town/city in Menorca with more immediate options for activities. Keeping in mind, we visited in April, so not the peak season.

Take time to look around.
Take time to look around. The museum showing the geology of the island is very well presented. Food we had in the town was good (to our taste which is adventurous).
Seems a bit dead but take time to look around.
Es Mercadel has an interesting crafts museum featuring characters and their traditional skills and some nice gourmet shops.
Fornells - a local fishing port on the north coast worth a trip and the sea food was excellent.
It is a beautiful house full of character surrounded by a very nice garden with a good swimming pool where it was pleasant to spend some time after a day going around the island. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. It is located in the middle of peaceful countryside and far from the crowded touristic areas but close to few nice villages (Ferreries and Es Mercadal) where you can find nice restaurants. Many nice beaches are at easy reach by car.
Ses Sucreres is a beautiful,
comfortable and well decorated hotel. It is also very well located in the middle of the island in the small and calm village of Ferreries which makes it more or less close to every place in Menorca. It has a really nice interior garden, the breakfasts are really good, with fresh fruit and a lot of options.
Stephanie is the nicest host, always helpful and kind.
The staff was amazing, anything you might need they will happily supply with a smile. The breakfast was great and plentiful and the central location makes it easy to reach any part of the island. The hotel itself feels more like a home rather than a hotel and it's located in a forest area with lots of nature around. The pool is great and the whole ambiance is very relaxed.
Absolutely beautiful, working farm property - clean, spacious rooms, very quiet, with stunning 360 views of Menorca and breathtaking sunsets! Staff were so lovely, super helpful and very patient with our minimal Spanish! Great breakfast with many options. Able to walk around the property to a lookout area, visiting the farm animals on the way!
This a truly excellent hotel that is impeccably finished and set in wonderful, secluded surroundings with great views. The rooms were brilliantly finished and the comprehensive, high quality breakfast was a highlight. Special mention for the staff who were attentive and friendly throughout - couldn't recommend it highly enough!
The hotel had a nice local feel, as the bar and breakfast area was also used by local people. The pool on the roof looked nice, although unfortunately it was too cold when we were there to make use of it. Which was why we really appreciated the nice warm bedroom!
In this hotel you are surrounded by nature and animals. The staff was great and very helpful. The location is in the middle of the island so everything is easily accessible with a car. I will definitely come back here next time!
Everything - the decor, the space, breakfast and the hosts. The staff very super friendly and the recommendations we got were amazing for our time in Menorca. I would love for them to have a hotel in every place we visit!
The most charming hotel in the world, the owner was there all the time, even preparing breakfast for us, an extremely kind person, everything they make and do is beautifully stylized, all my senses enjoyed it!
Conveniently placed in the middle of Ferreries and even though the breakfast isn’t automatically included you can have it for a cheap price in their restaurant. Good value for money and rooms had AC!
