The resident puppy and the shower. I don't want to leave a negative review because it's possible that COVID has had an impact & we stayed out of season. The restaurant wasn't open at all but as there were only 4 guests I don't think it was unreasonable. The air con looked brand new & it looked like the room had recently had new windows & been decorated. Top marks to housekeeping, the room & bathroom were spotless. Although the furniture was a bit 'retro' it didn't really bother us. The bedside lamp didn't work & a bulb in the main light needed replacing.
What was slightly weird was on Sunday there didn't seem to be anyone there at all - the bar wasn't open so we had to go out through the night entrance to get to our campervan to make a coffee in the morning. We didn't see anybody there until we left on Monday morning.
I'm sure in high season it is, or has been a popular hotel.

Very clean room, looks beautiful, furniture is new, bathroom nicely finished, overhead shower that doesn’t leak (bathtub with glass wall). Bed was comfortable, good pillows. Hosts were very nice. Overall very nice given the location. Free parking on the street, area is safe (according to the staff)
Enjoying a stunning rural location beside a lake, this hotel is built in typical Andalusian style with a charming outdoor terrace, a refreshing swimming pool and a great restaurant

What a stunning traditional hotel. I was hoping to find a little gem. We loved our corner room with views from both windows . The dinning room was lovely, more so when laid out for special events . The food very nice and .staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble. The terrace had wonderful views . This was the best hotel in our 7 week tour around Spain, we stayed for a week . Yes maybe a little tired around the edges, all added to the charm . We hope to revisit if that far south again.

The accommodation was outstanding, the views are stunning, we were made very welcome and travelled with our 2 dogs. They trurely have a wonderful business inga , Christian and their little dog are great people, everything was superclean, the apartments are just like home from home, we took our firestick which worked fantastic no issues with the wifi, the private garden was excellent for our dogs and also has everything from garden furniture to relax in, your own bbq and pergola. The location is wonderful and easy access to the main road to go exploring.
