Great location, large, comfortable bed, and nice staff. We got a corner room with lovely views, perfect for a short stay. We were offered a parking spot for 13 euros a day, which was a fair price.

A hotel, hot spring & SPA in the mountains located high above the sea with a great view. The bird’s singing woke us in the morning. The place has a long tradition, reflected in the elaborate stone architecture and supplemented by the pride and care of the proprietor and staff: We haven’t seen this kind of dedication and joy in hotel staff in a long time. But the highlight was the hot springs and baths with their stone pools, exotic sounds and smells under vaulted ceilings.
The setting and authenticity. The warm welcome by the receptionist lady, giving us the tour of the hotel with much enthusiasm. Me gustas te...;-)
The rebuilt historical building breathes history and architecture. Most enchanted with the personal touch and presentation. Not for the overly critical traveler, but sure for the experience seeking ones.
The villagers were very friendly helping us out to make sure we reach the next fuel station without a glitch....
The scenery was fantastic and we felt really close to the nature. It is a very genuin SPA hotel and the staff was nice and helpful. They let us park our two mc right outside the doors. They also let us order a few beers and sit on the terrace, even if the bar/restaurant was not open. After a full day on mc with 30-35 degrees it is very nice with a beer. The food was nice and genuin.
Absolutely amazing, once-in-a-lifetime hotel experience. The historic building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and competent. The chef was excellent and dinner was one of the best meals I've had in Spain.
The spa is simply too much for words, truly amazing.
This is not the most polished hotel, but it is the most amazing I've ever stayed in.
We have stayed here before and it is a hidden gem. It is in a very small and quiet village and you have to rely on the hotel for all facilities. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help although the visitor really needs a good command of Spanish or the willingness to adapt! If you need anything ring the bell and you will be well attended.
The view is superb looking over Almeria and the sea in the distance, we were shown around the hot spring spar but it wasnt open at the time. The hotel itself is very old with some interesting architecture and a garden inside which is open to the roof. There is one family owned bar that serves tapas with your drink within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel grounds were lovely. The Roman baths were lovely, a great experience. The view from the terrace was brilliant. The team was incredibly attentive.
