We opted for a sea view room which was wonderful. The view was great and a good place to watch the world go by on the promenade below. The room was adequately sized and immaculately clean. The bed was comfy and we slept very well. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels ready for us on arrival. Staff were friendly and attentive and there appeared to a security guard there at night for guest safety. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again the next time we are in the area.
Enjoying a beautiful location next to Sabinillas Beach on the Costa del Sol coastline, the Don Agustin is an elegant and classically decorated hotel set next to the sea.

Absolutely everything, it would be hard to find a more perfect place. Lovely big apartment with a giant sized balcony which was great to sit out on at any time. A smaller place like Sabinillas is a nice change as I usually stay in large cities. Have friends here and always enjoy coming back to see them and spend some time walking the lovely beach, which one can do for kilometres in each direction.
Also nicely located to visit other seaside towns like Estepona, or head up into the hills to see some of the white villages, medieval ruins, countryside restaurants, especially for weekend lunches.
Sabinillas is an easy 90 minutes from Malaga or Cadiz, less to Ronda or Gibraltar and only about 2.5 hours from Seville, so a nice base to explore Andalucia, especially if you have a car.

The water looked clean from the beach but once in patches of debris floating at me; string, yogurt cups, plastic wrappers, granules of something. Strangely I didn't see much of this trash on the beach. Wonder why.

We lived in the area for 5 years and this was always my favourite village hence our decision to stay here on our return.
Sabinillas is a mixed village, predominantly Spanish but very friendly and English is spoken here. It has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the best cafes, bars and restaurants you will find.
The beach is wonderful; clean, tidy and with some fantastic chiringuito bars. There is a vibrant beach front with cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Behind the beach front there are quiet, rustic streets with more shops and cafes. Further up there are more shops and typical Spanish restaurants. All over the village there are take aways with a choice of pizza, pollo, burgers, Chinese and local food.
If you are going as a couple, have a young family, or just want to stay away from the ex Pat booze bars this is the place to try.

We had an awesome time at the small hotel! The stay was amazing, and the breakfasts were really great, especially the scrambled eggs. The pool was fantastic, and everything was well thought out. The views were beautiful, and there were so many nice details that were fun to look at. Everything was done with a lot of taste. Julie and Steve were really welcoming and pleasant. We'd definitely stay there again, but we might not be able to drive so far next time.
Our room on top floor was great with fantastic sea view . Room was very large with king size bed plus extra space with sofa, table and fridge
Plus large sea view balcony with table and chairs Was also quiet with just fantastic sound of the sea. Lift was good. Also Staff we’re excellent and friendly Plus hotel and room was very clean
Good communication from the hotel before my arrival. Everyone very friendly. Room had every thing I needed and was spotlessly clean. Great position, right beside the seafront and only 5 minutes from restaurants and bars.
Right on the beach. Great location but little to see or do in Sabinillas except Oliver Twist is a great restaurant. We booked the room overlooking the beach and all was excellent. We did not eat at the hotel.
The receptionist was quiet helpful. He was happy to speak french with me. Hotel very closed to the beach. Quiet room except the noisy ventilation in the bathroom
