You couldn’t ask for a better location. In amongst all the restaurants and bars. A short walk to the beach. The managers were very helpful even though they didn’t speak English.
There are 2 supermarkets in the area, a fab pastry shop.
There are 2 supermarkets in the area, a fab pastry shop. A thrift shop across the road, although attended by drunk men it was quite an experience . A member of staff on the ferry did say Solares was where you went to drink and I think, except for the luxury hotel he was right. Lots of drunk older men around..
Architecturally outstanding, amazing thermal spa of historical importance, sumptuous interiors. Lovely grounds and external terraces around pool setting. Good to see a garden kitchen. This was a fantastic stopover on the way to Santander ferry port. Excellent restaurants. Will definitely be back. My dogs loved it too, the hotel had thoughtfully provided a dog bed each in the room. Absolutely wonderful stay.
The hotel was really lovely. We were travelling with our dog and we had a great sized room with a very comfortable super king size bed. The staff were fabulous and really accommodating with our dog when we were booked into the restaurant for Sunday lunch on our arrival. Lovely lunch and breakfast was excellent too.
This hotel has the personal touch of a small boutique, whilst having the service and facilities of a big hotel. The absolute best of both worlds. We were unfortunately only there one night and leaving for home the next morning, otherwise we may have extended our stay.
The hotel it really nice with a beautiful court yard. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants. We booked with the hotel for our return stay and will definitely stay again. *****
Super friendly staff. Sufficient vegan breakfast options. Beautiful backyard. Proximity to the cities that we wanted to drive to. Good value hotel. Car park in the property.
