The hotel is a local, central
hotel with simple but very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a small balcony looking out on the town square. The lady on reception was extremely friendly, welcoming and very helpful answering questions. There were a number of good restaurants just up the street. The bed was large and comfortable and we slept well.

Tapia is a lovely fishing village in Asturias.
Tapia is a lovely fishing village in Asturias. Its very close to some beautiful beaches where you can swim. The centre of town is lively for an evening out to dinner. It's a very family friendly village. The only issue is the weather in Tapia is quite unpredictable even in August. With bad weather there isn't much to do. However when the sun is out, it's glorious. Its not the best place if you don't speak Spanish compared to other parts of Spain as most of the tourists are Spanish but if you are looking for immersion, it's great. The food is just ok if you are a foodie but just across the Ria, Ribadeo (Galicia) has amazing seafood.

We were walking the camino and would recommend the alternate route through Tapia and a stay at this hotel. We had an enjoyable stay. We received a pleasant welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. There was a salt water swimming area next to the ocean quite close by. It was too cold for us but looks like this could be a great spot to swim in warmer weather. We also found a great sidereria close by for dinner.
Tapia de Casariego is a lovely and quaint village with lots of walking paths along the rugged coastline. Hotel Restaurante San Aanton is perfectly located for exploring the area and for pilgrims on the Camino del Norte. The property was clean, the staff very kind and friendly, and the restaurant downstairs is convenient with delicious food.
the hotel was the only one available in the area so we can't complain. It's conveniently located just off the motorway by some service stations. The check in staff-member was very professional and pleasant. The kitchen staff too and a good à la carte breakfast was included in the price
Hotel La Cuesta is a small hotel located near the port in Tapia. Our room was basic, compact but clean and we enjoyed our stay. The location close to the port and great restaurants is a key feature of the hotel. This enhanced our memorable stay in Tapia greatly.
It was a lovely hotel with great staff, taking the breakfast is really worth it.
It has a nice location, close to the beach and in the other side the mountains. The room was clean and the bathroom was really nice, i highly recommend this place
The hotel was in a great location to explore the town and surrounding area . The host / owner was aways on hand to deal with any queries that you may have had. He was courteous at all times. The room was of good size and was cleaned daily.
An affordable, clean, and quiet hotel on the Camino del Norte. The hotel is close to all of the local sights, a supermarket, and many restaurants. The bathroom was recently renovated and modern.
The hotel is outside Tapias and you need to walk a good bit to reach the centre of town. The breakfast was excellent and the produces were Km 0 and most of them homemade. A very pleasant surprise.
Perfect location to enjoy the view of the ocean. We enjoyed two nights there during our walk on the Camino del Norte. Very close to the alternate trail in Tapia de Casariego.
The balcony /veranda attached to the room was spacious and with good views; it was the special feature of this out of town hotel.
Breakfast was also varied and good
