I loved the building and the garden. The renovations that had been done let the light shine in.

Lovely place! Friendly staff. Clean.

Tui was gorgeous, wish I could have stayed longer than one quick night but was meeting up with friends on the Camino and had to move on. So many good restaurants as well and the river walk is lovely! If you're on the Camino, stop at Albergue Ideas Peregrinas for their breakfast. It's a full-service cafe with strong coffee and American breakfasts with the nicest toasted baguettes. They have a store as well attached with Camino provisions - ponchos, poles with rubber tips, hats, shorts, wool socks, all high quality.

Very historic old town.
Very historic old town. It used to be the capital of Galicia. Beautiful cathedral. Location next to Mindo river makes it very special as well. Strolling along the river, with Tui lingering above was a delight.

Tui was bigger than I expected.
Tui was bigger than I expected. It is a very interesting town close to the Portuguese border and has many historical buildings. There are lots of bars to choose from - El Pilar being our favourite. The old cathedral is worth a visit to view the architecture and there are some lovely walks along the riverside.

Small, beautiful medieval town in a lovely location. The cathedral is stunning and if you buy the small audio tour you can climb up to the ramparts for a wonderful view of the city and river looking across to Portugal.

Restaurant/cafes near Albergue Pallanes were not open for food in the evening when local referrals were given but a nearby supermarket was well stocked. The kitchen at the Albergue provided all that was required for meal preparation. Only stayed one night. At the end of a days travel/walking Tui restaurants were a step too far away.

Tui is a great historical location, with enough modern conveniences for most. It is a great centre for touring and is located close to the border with Portugal It is also conveniently located, for walkers, on The Camino Portugues.
This apartment is a gem. We stayed here the night before we started walking the Camino. The property is in an ideal location, one block off the Camino path, and minutes away from an excellent supermarket and multiple restaurants. The apartment is ultra modern, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. Great balcony looking down on a narrow, ancient street in the old section of Tui. The owner communicated very well prior to our stay and met us at the door when we arrived. Truly an exceptional place that we could not recommend higher.
This was our first stop in Spain after walking the Camino from Porto. The hotel is beautiful and close enough to the old town to make walking there, even for tired hikers. We had a very good lunch and they opened for a cup of coffee the next morning so we had some fuel for the next part of the Camino. Also the contrast between the size of this place - which I think was part of the Spanish defense - with the fortress in Valenca was stunning. One side was a lot more threatened than the other.
Beautiful, clean, quiet and homey apartment, completely stocked with everything you'll need.
Kitchen, food, drinks, coffee, great bed, sofa, outdoor area the sit and relax, place to dry ones clothes and so much more.
The host is very nice and accommodating, and we felt right at home.
The location is a 15 minutes walk from the old town in Tui, 50 meters from a restaurant, and 500 meters from Lidl, so good location as well.
We highly recommend to stay here 10/10.
Perfect spot to start the camino. Comfortable rooms, private bathrooms. About a 5 minute walk to the cathedral to pick up credentials. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Wifi worked great. Very close the center of town, walking distance to restaurants. The hotel faces one of the main streets, though I found it very quiet.
There is nothing better and warmer than Juana"'s treat. We felt like home and felt Juana was our sister. We will always stay at her for the next trips to Tui. Many thanks Juana! The apartment is big and spotlessly clean, enough for 4 people if one bathroom is OK. The garden is the garden of Eden...:)
The location was good easily accessible and only a short drive from Tui. The restaurant was good, nice food at very reasonable prices. Menu of the day €11. The accommodation was basic but pleasant enough. The staff who I assume we're the owners were very nice. Would definitely use again.
just like a villa, complete with huge backyard garden with statuary. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. our room shared a huge porch with next door room. 3 rooms shares one LARGE bathroom. very clean, airy, perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Tui
everything was perfect. Miguel the manager did an excellent job of keeping in touch with eating suggestions. the place was centrally located to the camino which was our purpose on being in Tui.
Nice olde worlde feel in the middle of tui. Great breakfast. Really helpful staff, even gave me access to their washing machine for a small fee. All bars and restaurants just 100m away.
