The flats are designed very tastefully, with an artist touch. This makes the stay very enjoyable. The house is has historic value (a previous school) and is located on the defense line (during II Word War) against Soviet Union. Thus there is historic spots to see.

In Lappeenranta, we particularly liked the harbor and the fortress. Otherwise, we mainly used the city as a starting point for trips and hikes along the shores of Lake Saimaa. Lappeenranta is ideally located for this. The environment is really beautiful.

There is something magical about Lappeenranta.
There is something magical about Lappeenranta. Such a beautiful place to spend summer. So much to do and see, yummy Finnish foods from the satama, loved the sandcastle sculptures. E-scooter rides were great fun and a visit to the market for fresh strawberries and peas is a must.

The breakfast was awesome, but the same breakfast every day was a bit too much for me since I was staying for 4 days (this was not a minus for short travels). the swimming pool and sauna were good additions to our trip.

Lappeenranta is very beatiful and lovely city.
Lappeenranta is very beatiful and lovely city. Lake Saima and all around is very beatiful in summer time. All people are very nice. From here easy to access to Russia by train or bus. The hotels are very convinient. Must to see
This might be the best place I have stayed! I went to Lappeenranta with my husband and my son for three days. We stayed there for two nights and there's nothing to complain. The location is good and there's a free parking. The apartment is quiet and very clean. We made some food there and all the equipment, pots and pans, utensils are new and clean. If we visit Lappeenranta, we will definitely choose to stay there again!
It's a beautiful wooden cabin with a separate community bathromm and enough space for a few days. Every room has a refrigerator, microwave, water boiler and dishes with some cutlery. Our room and the bathroom were clean and very cozy. It's a good place to stay if you want to go hiking in the south or in the east.
The flat is nice and it has a lot of space if you count in the terrace. The kitchen has all you need and the garden is really nice to sit in and well taken care of. The toilet / shower were functional. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the location is good, close to the lake and the beach.
The basement house is really great. A full kitchen & nice bathroom with a shower with really hot water! A beautiful location across from a lake/boat dock. Easy parking & parking close to the front door to unload your luggage. A huge sun room. Close to the city of Lappeenranta, which is so beautiful!
Really nicely renovated hotel in an old soldiers’ lodging buildind. Good location, near the center of Lappeenranta and also close to a beach. Superb breakfast. High-quality sauna space, as well as other common areas, including a game room and a cafe/tv room.
The hotel is located near the harbour, fortress, and city centre, so it is a very good location. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was amazing, many options.
The atmosphere was just great! This is not a five star hotel but you will enjoy it if you want something that is a bit different. And the breakfast shot was a nice surprise.
Everything was great. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Very interesting hotel managed by a nice couple that puts much effort and care into it.
