I know it well and have been going back for years. Great hiking and walking, meandering down the Dordogne etc. Argentat is a lovely, relaxing little town with friendly people. This area of France is just wonderful!

We lived close by for a few years but were extremely disappointed, on our return, 6 months after moving. The town has lost it's charm and is 'sad' The patisserie, Chez Girad is excellent as also, Tradi Correze
