Nothing at all. We did not stay, the room we were offered was up 3 flights of stairs, dark and dingy. The room was probably Fashionable in 1900, but not livable in 2023. We had no option but to move on!! It is a real shame that Booking.com can’t check what they are advertising, even the Tourism Office did not know where this “Hotel” was

Decorated with rustic charm but meticulously clean with a modern bathroom. Lovely communal dining area where Manfred serves breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed dining with the other guests very much. The joy Manfred has for his cave is very charming! We don't actually drink much at home, but gladly drank all of the delicious homemade aperitifs offered. The dinner was the best meal we had in France. Thank you for your first class hospitality! We will miss above all, lovely Charlie.

A very beautiful and renovated old farm by a 16th century castle, in a very quiet countryside setting, with many things to visit not far away. Liked the fact that there was breakfast included.

The house was very clean and welcoming in the centre of this lovely town. Although central it is tucked away in a quiet corner so quiet. The bedding and towels were spotless and good quality

Chantal’s property is incredibly charming. We felt very connected to the history of the place. But despite being an historic building, it’s been fit out to a very high and modern standard. The property is in the middle of the countryside and from its garden you can see the beautiful views of the valley. The nearest town, Chinon, is a beautiful historic town and it’s only 10 minutes drive from the studio. Chantal herself was the perfect host and she made us feel at home during our stay. We would love to go back soon!
