Typically French - and utterly charming. Set in the heart of the champagne region, this beautiful home stay was once available to nuns who established a school, daycare and dispensary there. The host was clearly very proud of the dwelling, and keen to expectation its history to us.
We were able to park in the inner courtyard. And everything in the town was within walking distance.
The ‘History Of Champagne’ tour & tasting was incredibly interesting and well worth a visit.

Everything!! Incredible experience, Manon was wonderful and did a brilliant tasting for us that was so insightful. The room was wonderful, breakfast fantastic and generally we couldn’t have had a better time. Nothing was too much for them and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Wonderfully located apartment in Ay, walking distance to local restaurants and amenities, easy drive to champagne houses in Epernay. The apartment was well set up with a mini kitchen and seating areas. Communication with our host was good and timely, but we never met. On street parking outside or nearby, depending on the amount of traffic parking.

I've been traveling for 4 months and have booked many apartments during this time. I would say that Ay Central is absolutely one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. The location, the quietness of the apartment, the comfort level, the wifi speed, the kitchen facilities and staples, the overall feel of the apartment and the incredibility helpful host Cedric made our stay a very special one. I wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely great French-style breakfast with freshly-backed croissants, cheese, coffee, juice... Great benefit is that is was served for the time we've asked, so we didn't need to rush and colud sleep late). Though it's an old house, property is fully renovated and super clean. There is a lovely living room where you can order champagne and snacks as well as chairs outside with canopies for shade. The yard is beautiful. We felt at home and safe. We were happy we stayed at Aÿ as we spent a lot time in Épernay for the champagne tastings and probably would not have visited Aÿ had we stayed in Épernay.
