Loved the natural setup with outside private bathroom. Great swimming pool. Very friendly owners. Good breakfast. Great location. Great social initiative to join a BBQ. Unfortunately our French is not that good and most other guests English was not that good, therefore we declined the BBQ. But it sounded like lots of fun for those who joined. 😊

Don't go to the Au Bon Vieux Temps restaurant - surly and slow service and they allow people to smoke among diners on the terrace. They only accept cash (yes, I'm not kidding). The only saving grace is that the manager isn't French, nor did he understand the colloquial French I used when telling him what a pit his place was.
The apartment was situated in the centre of Barjac which was very convenient. Plenty of free parking about 1 min walk away. Well equipped, comfortable and clean. Bruno the host is extremely friendly and helpful. He greeted us on arrival and gave us info about the local area. He also left us some lovely wine, nuts, juice, water, tea, coffee etc. Highly recommended. Try and stay for a Friday when the market comes to town. Fabulous!
A lovely gite with a very friendly and helpful owner living on site. Temperatures were in early 30s but with a gentle breeze very comfortable and of course the pool helped. A short walk to the lovely Barjac where there plenty of places to eat out or to enjoy a drink. Supermarket about 400m away. Good base to explore the area. Plenty of gentle walks well signposted from Barjac village
Price quality is excellent. I was here during the brocante of august. So a very busy time in Barjac. The house is in the village centre in a very pretty little alley. There are shops and bars around it but nothing that disturbed my sleep. It was really hot when I was there but the ventilator in the apartment did the trick. Thanks for a great stay.
