Situated just on the outskirts of Massiac a few minutes from the motorway with a river at the back and hills all around, this hotel is in an excellent location. Rather showing its age but still very comfortable. Parking on site just outside the front entrance. Also very close to Massiac and its restaurants and supermarkets.

Nothing It is a disgrace to call this a hotel. No staff in attendance. Dirty and dusty reception area. Very neglected, more like a hostel than a hotel

This was a perfect overnight stay for us to break our journey. The bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for self catering, breakfast was good and there was secure on-site parking. Nathalie and Roland were very welcoming. Thank you.
Beautiful little village nestled in the French hills.
Beautiful little village nestled in the French hills. We were only stopping for a night en route through France but we’re very pleasantly surprised by the little gem which feels like stepping back in time a few hundred years.

Blesle is a beautiful medieval village in Auvergne region, in the centre of France. It is rich with history and culture and is a perfect spot to do trekkings and hikes around.
For eating, one can only recommend the "Auberge" la Bougnate which has an affordable Michelin-rated restaurant with simple, high quality menu and varied well-selected wine list.
Do not miss the lovely village of Leyvaux, 15 km off at the very end of the road with a historical chapel from the 12th century.
We found this delightful place purely by accident on our way back from Spain. What an unexpected joy. The medieval village of Blesle is beautiful, even in the rain. The proprietor/chef welcomed us at reception and showed us to our quaint room. The evening meal was french cuisine of the highest order. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The two ladies who worked in the restaurant were perfect and despite my shocking lack of French were charming.
Great place to stay. The host is wonderful and we enjoyed a lovely drink downstairs in his amazing pub area before going across the street for dinner which he thoughtfully had checked was open for us. This small hotel is so comfortable and friendly to stay in and the little town is a hidden gem. We now want to head back for longer! The underfloor heating in our room and excellent water pressure were also both appreciated.
Lovely place in a very pretty village. Toon is friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed drinks in the bar that is part of the property. Couldn’t fault the room, warm, pretty, ensuite. No breakfast but boulangerie in the village so you can buy croissants and enjoy with a coffee back at the hotel. Restaurants and cafes in village but the were all closed while we were there (a snowy Sunday night in Jan)

Quaint hotel in the center of a medieval village with clean comfortable rooms. Dinner on site was wonderful. Staff very friendly.
One caution if you are a light sleeper, the village bell/clock tower rings on the hour and then one chime every half hour all night long.
Great room - old fashioned small hotel, charming, comfy, nice bathroom. Breakfast was fine; nice proper fresh croissants. Good value. There were very few parking spaces in the small, bustling, touristy town and we were immediately found a space by the hotel.
We stayed in Blesle for one night on our way to Paris by car, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is super cute, cosy and warm and the village is very, very nice for a stroll, lunch or dinner. I highly recommend it!
Live pianist played on the evening that we were there ( Friday evening); friendly host; extremely pretty village in stunning scenery; hotel restaurant conveniently opposite for evening meal.
