From Melanie on reception, to the restaurant staff the service was exceptional. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star the food and service was that good. This hotel has a great team who understand hospitality at the highest level.

I have overnighted at Relais de Barbezieux many, many times. It is important to remember that first and foremost it is a Truckers' Stop, a superb one. It represents very good value for money as long as you are not looking for a four-star hotel.

This was a delightful place for a stopover on our way south. Patricia looked after us beautifully. The room was lovely - clean, bright, airy and comfortable. The added bonus of having a swimming pool was much appreciated after a long drive.
Breakfast was wonderful - lots of fresh fruit included.
We were able to walk to a restaurant, recommended by Patricia, for dinner - 3 courses for 25€ each and superb quality. We loved the Boule d'Or !

Friendly people. Lovely old restored house. With original doors and windows. Very clean room and bathroom. Good bed. Very quiet. It was great for us hungry cyclist that we could have dinner here. Also breakfast was good. We could park our bicycles safely in a barn. It is almost on the Eurovelo route.
