The location is very convenient for town centre and Chanel tunnel access
However the hotel is in a bad state of disrepair, too many things to mention, from the bathroom to the front door.
The waitress was very friendly and efficient.

Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Calais Centre is brilliant with plenty to do, great beaches and Friteries (Chips, enough to feed a Country)
I recommend La Coupole at St Omer,,Blockhaus d'Eperlecques also near St Omer, Batterie Todt (Closed until March) near Wizernes between Sangatte and Boulogne sur Mer.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.

Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review.
Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review. We ate at the Poivre Rouge. Staff very nice but the steak my wife had was the most overpriced piece of meat I have ever seen. The steak - butchers cut - is in the photo. It cost €15.50 on its own!!

We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel.
We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel. Time on our hands this time, meant that we could visit some of the beaches. Those at Sangatte were truly lovely and well worth spending a day or more at. Coquelles itself has a good supermarket, restaurants etc, so worth breaking the journey there and preparing either for an excursion further into France, or the trip back home. And if you have time, Cap Gris-Nez is also lovely!

The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence...
The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence and many police vehicles in the car park making it feel very safe and secure. The location is perfect for the tunnel and shopping, where it is quite basic it suits well for an overnight stop.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Furnishings a little tired.
Rooms are fairly basic and small but everything you need for a short stopover. Breakfast was good. The location in a retail park on the outskirts of Calais is not pretty but it is very convenient - secure floodlit and fenced parking and the Poivre Rouge restaurant across the road serves reasonably good food and is relatively cheap. Ideal at the end of a long day's driving! They take pets too and you can give your dog a lovely walk on nearby Bleriot Plage.
This hotel is very well located, not only as a stopover point for onward journeying into France or back into the UK, but it is also just over the road from the Cite Europe shopping centre. It is literally a few minutes away from the Eurotunnel terminal. There is a very spacious car park just outside. The room was comfortable and well equipped - one can do self-catering easily if desired. The staff are extremely friendly.
We had an unforeseen over night stop at this hotel in Calais due to our animal health certificate being incorrectly filled in by vets in Florence. So we had to re-administer our dog the correct worming tablet abd had to wait 24 hours before we could re-enter UK. The hotel was very clean, and handy for Le Shuttle. The late check out of 12 o clock was also handy for us. Breakfast was good. Nice sized room. Good value
We were running late and the member of staff both emailed and phoned us to make sure everything was OK.
They gave us the information that we needed to get into the hotel and our bedroom so that we didn't have to worry about the time.
This was very reassuring for the end of our long day of driving through France 🇫🇷.
The check in was great the young guy on reception was very friendly and helpful we had a ground floor room which was great as we had the dog
Very clean room and enough for an overnight stay before channel tunnel crossing
Secure car parking and easy access
There restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance
We had food delivered to our room as our daughter had to be out to bed and it was exceptional! Very tasty with quality ingredients. We hope to come back and eat in the actual restaurant next time. Room was perfect and the travel cot was all set up for us.
I used to stay in this hotel at least once a year before the pandemic. I haven't been there for about 3 years. The room is still clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable. Being right next to Eurotunnel and Cite Europe, the location is fantastic.
The hotel is a step above the rest of the Calais hotels, and delivers a warm friendly experience, with excellent rooms, food and service, for a very reasonable price.
In our opinion, very difficult to match, let alone beat.
We were there for one night only and left very early for onward travel so our experience was limited. The hotel is sited extremly close and convenient for the Channel Tunnel and for routes heading further into France.
Very friendly staff at reception. Late Check in and was still able to get a drink at the bar. I had requested a quiet room and the hotel accommodated that. Clean and comfortable
easy access and all facilities available on Sunday which for France is exceptional - so well done. Clean hotel, well appointed with helpful smiling staff - always helps!
Served the purpose well - staying in Calais for the night to take the eurotunnel train to Folkstone early next day. Nothing fancy, 3 stars are correct I think.
Quick and easy check in even late at night. Secured parking space very close to Calais Eurotunnel which is exactly what I was looking for. Value for money.
Location is ideal for travelling between UK and Calais tunnel terminals. Staff are always lovely. Food is good quality and bedrooms are clean and comfy
