The breakfast was very good. The studio unit was very spacious, but did not look like any of the pictures that I had seen online.

The lady of the house Eliza is very kind, the room is clean, the garden is green and with roses, the birds are singing. And there is enough space.

Le Petite Maison is a lovely place, located in a quiet street close to the center of Giverny, in easy walking distance to Monets Garden, several restaurants and a bakery. It’s a small house with a private garden. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and you can ask for an additional duvet, if you don’t like to share the big one that’s on the bed. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee maker with capsules, cooking essentials like salt, oil and vinegar and even an electric citrus press.
What really makes this place special is that we felt right at home, when we walked into the house. It’s furnished and decorated with so much love and care. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day.

Giverny is a charming and historic town that has an intimate feel despite having a world-class attraction of Monet’s Gardens. On our visit, visitors seemed thoughtful and respectful, and like us, were in awe of the beauty of the village itself, as well as the magnificent gardens themselves. It was a great pleasure to stroll through the streets of Giverny, and the advantage of staying in town is that most visitors to the gardens have left by late afternoon and the village itself is peaceful and interesting to explore.
Although restaurant options in town are somewhat limited (however there is apparently a Michelin starred restaurant in town), we enjoyed dining at “Le Temps des Fleurs”, on a covered terrace overlooking a garden.
We also enjoyed visiting the Giverny Museum of Impressionism, which is a more intimate space with no permanent collection, but interesting temporary exhibitions.

A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes. The Museum was interesting and held beautiful artwork of Impressionists. Monet's garden and house were a treat to visit. Our timing was perfect - there was much in bloom and the weather was cooperative. There were hidden monuments - Monet's bust, the monument to him and his family. And the house was beautifully replicated.

Beautiful village, with a sense of peace and quietness despite many tourists. Monets garden is absolutely worth a visit as well as the impressionist museum. We had dinner at the new restaurant “Oscar” at the museum (excellent food at a fair price, definitely recommend it)

This centre was lacking in the overall character of a village. The gardens were the focus. But there was very little opportunity to enjoy the village separate to the gardens as there were no shops to buy local cheese, yes there is a bakery but no partisse. It had character but no sole.

We loved the gardens and house although very busy.
We loved the gardens and house although very busy. Glad we chose the earlier booking option as by the time we left it was mobbed. If we had longer we would have gone to the museum too, however, we were en route south and needed to get going.
Like it even better once we left the pre booked disgusting Les Rouges Gorges and paid for another stay at the idyllic La Dime.
Afaf and Alain were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful during our quick overnight stay - gave us bread, hand-picked strawberries from their garden, and water & juice in the fridge. The home is so beautifully kept, the terrace is perfect for a little snooze and they let us wamder theit garden. We were about a 10 min walk to Claude Monet's house, so easy to walk around the town. We would absolutely come back to visit Giverny and the rest of the Normandy region again. Also, their dog prada is so cute!
What can I say! Fantastic welcome, top quality apartment, amazing location 7 minute walk from Monet's Garden (and Giverny was beautifully quiet once the coaches left), wonderful provisions provided for breakfast etc (the jams were particularly lovely), super luxury bedroom and bathroom. Sitting on the balcony in the sun overlooking the garden was truly a slice of heaven. Parking was excellent (in front of house behind locked gate). Worth every penny. Made our touring holiday!
Everything! I was bowled over by the hospitality showed to me by Alexandre and Veronique, from my arrival, helping me with my bags, recommendations for things to do and restaurants, the wonderful room and brilliant bathroom, the view and the terrace and the excellent breakfast. They go out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable. I would highly recommend this wonderful accomodation in the paradise that is Giverny!
I'm aware in writing this that everyone's taste is not the same. This is a lovely rustic French garden and collection of buildings. The room had a basic kitchen, shower room, two comfy single beds and a lovely setting in the peace and quiet of Giverny. Nearby are places to get an evening meal or lunch .. the price of our room included breakfast, which was a fresh baguette and two croissants hung on the door handle in a cotton bag.
We had a lovely stay at Le Clos. The location is perfect for Monet's garden and Danielle was so kind and helped us with tickets for entry (no queue) as well as excellent recommendations and bookings for dinner. It was a lovely stay with a great breakfast too! We travelled by train from Paris and the whole thing was wonderful - Giverny is easily walkable and it was enjoyable not to have to use a car.
The “Little Eagle’s Nest” is the perfect spot for a sole traveler, a couple, or two very close friends, who wish to stay within easy walking distance to Monet’s Gardens and other attractions in Giverny. It is very clean and very well equipped. Veronique, the host made our stay extra special by welcoming us, helping us with booking of the taxi back to Vernon and, sharing her beautiful garden with us.
The location of the apartment is great! Staying in Giverny is special. The apartment is large enough for a one bedroom (open to living, dining and kitchen area), comfortable and very well appointed. The bedding is very good. Bathroom is also very good. It was nice to stay above the art gallery in this house with a lovely garden. We would be very lucky to stay here again. An excellent choice!
Lovely setting, just a short walk to the village of Giverny on Rue Claude Monet. We liked staying in a small, intimate B & B, and enjoyed staying in the spacious “Soleil Levant” room.
My partner and I loved everything about our staying! We wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful village of Giverny and this place was perfect! We will come back for sure.
Unique property within extensive well kept grounds. Rooms individual and somewhat quirky. Probably the best quality breakfast on our entire trip through northern France.
Great location in Giverny. Very nice breakfast delivered to the door in a cute insulated picnic basket. Parking a real plus in village where this can be difficult
