The meals at dinner were exceptionally good, though a bit similar between all the different options (e.g. the same vegetables always returned for each menu). We frequently use this as a stopping place when travelling back from relatives in Belgium - we appreciate a stopover now we are older and we like our comforts and the excellent food at this hotel.

The hotel stated we had not and therefore we could not eat at the hotel. Sadly the location of the hotel and grounds are wonderful, but there is very little else close by. Therefore quite a trek to eat dinner. Not ideal.

We had booked in advance a table for dinner in the restaurant and it was just as well, as it was full. The supper was amazing as was the breakfast.

The staff are lovely, truly professional and the food is excellent.
