The welcoming staff, the history of the hotel to LeMans, the photos and documents available to the customers and the staff who simply like cars. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are large and very comfy, the location is superb, the village is friendly and typical French rural, packed with historical buildings and atmosphere.

This place is totally unique. You will struggle to find anything like it. Amazing host. Great for a peaceful get away or to explore surrounding area. We enjoyed bike riding, picnics and local restaurants (although hard to track down open ones midweek).

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was easy to find, clean, comfortable and quiet. There are 3 bedrooms, one is ensuite and the other 2 share a bathroom. We were sharing with another room of 2 people and never had to wait, it was very easy.
The rooms have aircon, the kitchen and lounge areas are spacious, you have plenty of facilities for food and laundry, and places to sit and relax inside and outside.
We went for Le Mans Classic and I would definitely stay here again.

We were made very welcome at this lovely tranquil home in beautiful countryside. Our room was spacious with a large area leading to the ensuite facilities, shower and loo. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was available but we chose not to use it, preferring to open the window. Wifi was also available. The breakfast of fruit juice, fresh fruit, various pastries and home made yoghurt and preserves was delicious.

This is a peaceful setting in the French countryside in a renovated farmstead. So much character and comfort! The proprietors were very welcoming, and went over and above to make sure we had all the little extras - like cheese and wine!!!

Rooms typical of French rural hotels
Clean, basic but adequate for our stay
Group of seven had a few drinks and dinner perfect after the drive from the uk.
Staff although only speaking a little English and we speaking less French made us very welcome. If the weather had been a little better the outside area would have been very pleasant to sit in for the evening.

As a small village it has many bars and restaurants with a supermarket as well as a baker, butchers, chemists and opticians. As a destination, its main feature is the Hotel de France where the Hotel has a wonderful racing history.

We didn’t like the property at all. Difficult location for parking in a public square and the hotel needs a major upgrade in terms of its facilities. Seems to be relying on its past association with Le Mans motorsport. Overly priced for what it has to offer. Extremely disappointing.
Very hospitable host and hostess at hotel. In spite of my very poor French and their marginally better English, we managed to communicate and the hotel staff went out of their way to assist us, including contacting and driving us to the local garage when we had a tyre puncture.
The breakfast was just fine. The location was within easy walking distance of the little town centre with its collection of hotels , shops and restaurants. And our charming host was very helpful in locating our mislaid mobile phone for us!👌
For any 'petrolhead' this hotel is a must. Full of iconic images of past racing teams and drivers who have stayed there for Le Mans. But they don't rely upon that history the staff are all very friendly and the food was exceptional.
Great hotel especially if you are into historic cars and Le Mans. If you are not then this is a great hotel with nice clean and stylish rooms, well appointed and comfortable.
Perfect hotel on the town square in this beautiful and quiet part of France. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
