The view in the dining room is fantastic, and was also the reason of our choice.
It was nice to be able to dine there too, with good quality food to warm up. Good!

Very good buffet breakfast. Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. plenty of free parking on site. Internet was free and reasonable
No longer has a chef you have to heat your evening meal selection in a micro wave. Bedroom has a sloping ceiling and difficult to stand up in the Shower/Bath .
Good location, albeit needed a car. Room was perfect for a family (double bed and bunk beds). No kettle in the room but there was tea making facilities in the main area of the hotel. We didnt eat but food was available. We drove into Dinan for a meal on the evening.
We had to leave very early the next day to get our ferry, checkout was easy, breakfast was available but we had to leave too early.
The hotel is in a lovely high point with views across the bay.
Everythign was perfect. The staff at the reception was the best I meet in the last decade. Very helpfull, much more than expectd and alway with a nice smile on the face. The rooms was confy and clean and the location was queit and near to the visting places. Very good hotel. Highly recomended.
The only problem was that the hotel was much further out of town that I realised when I booked it but the lady on reception was incredibly helpful , recommending a very good restaurant in Dinard and managing to organise one of the very few taxis available. Thank you very much Laura.
Lovely location, room was very clean.great view towards the lake/bay Staff were very friendly.
It's a very basic Hotel but the Jewel in the Crown was a member of staff called Laura who went above and beyond to make our stay a very enjoyable one.
Very friendly staff. Good size room with a comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the hotel. Fan in the room. Easy parking. Good location for St Malo, Dinard and getting to the ferry.
The hotel is ideally located for an overnight stop before getting the ferry the next morning from St. Malo to the UK. The hotel carpark is large and free and it is only 15 minutes from the hotel to the port.
Lovely hotel in lovely location. FOund our room was upstairs, and asked for a ground level room. Staff moved bookings around to accommodate us. Excellent service.
