This little hotel really is exceptional. Enthusiastic and accommodating young owner who's just refurbished everything inside, pricing himself really competitively. Still work to be done on outside appearances, but don't let them put you off. Excellent bike storage for our enormous tandem with trailer, and as others have noted, first class Vietnamese restaurant just across the road. A real find all round.

For the money this hotel is brilliant, the lack of parking is no problem as the public parking is good. The restaurant value and quality is simply exceptional. The a staff welcoming and friendly, the director Msr Journel said runs a great hotel.

Easy to find. Very cheerful welcome, assurance that the noise from the festival would cease at 19.30, it did and in any case a room at the back which was quieter. Breakfast was good, lots of coffee, croissant, fresh bread and loads of butter/jam. Butter unhealthy but very good. WIFI excellent, I could watch a film on my laptop with no problem whatsoever. Nice decor sort of up market shabby chic.
