Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. Dinner in the garden on both evenings was excellent, such huge portions ! My husband called the chef Ding -Ding as she rang the bell so loudly for service !! She was great fun. Definitely would stay again.

I felt I’d fallen on my feet as everything was great. I’d had to book at short notice in half term week close to a remote hamlet to attend my cousin’s funeral.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop as wanted to visit Martel and liked the look of the outside area. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for reasons beyond their control but this wasn't a problem as the hotel is minutes from the town and a big choice of restaurants. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great and good value (good variety of bread and pastries). Tea and coffee freely available to make a drink in our room. Our room was basic (as you would expect for a 2 star hotel) but bathroom and shower great. Great location a few minutes walk to a beautiful town. Parking easy.

The property was very good. It was a shame we were not told that our check in would be 30 mins later owing to the fact that they were hosting a wedding! It was hard to access the property because of the number of celebrating guests.

Superb room and welcomed by a host not a key box. Like a traditional chambre d'hôte from 20 years ago with great food, great company ( both hosts and other guests ) and lovely rural setting. On site parking and only a short drive to major tourist attractions such as Rocamadour and Padirac. Three course evening meals are exceptionally good Both Stefan and Carine speak very good English
