This is a convenient place to stay if you’re on a bike tour, well located with a short walk to nearby restaurants/cafes or you can eat at the Hotel (useful on a Sunday night). Our party of four cyclists had two rooms, 4 separate beds, a safe place to store bikes overnight and a good breakfast.

Very nice little chateau, situated a bit outside of the city with a pool. The accommodation offers dinner served in a garden. The reception was very friendly. The rooms are really big and nicely furnished.

Nice little town with historic buildings surrounded by mountains.
We liked the Parc de loups du Gevaudan wolf park, but it is closed now and reopens in 2020.
Unfortunately, it can be hard to get around in Marvejols if you do not have your own car. The town itself is small enough to walk, but the surroundings are not and there is no public transport.

Excellent stay, small quiet town, very authentic.
Excellent stay, small quiet town, very authentic. Everyone we tried our (bad) French on took it very well and in good humour. Lovely fresh bread from the town and a little market too. We would highly recommend.
This "no frills" hotel was very good value for money. It was clean, good sized rooms and easy street parking right outside. However, the real jewel in the crown was the dinner. We had the best meal we've had in France so far, and at EUR 30 for the menu, with 4 courses including a fantastic cheese board, it was great value for money. The regional specialties were delicious, and very generous portions.
Lovely quirky hotel full of character which was very comfortable and the staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable! As all the other reviews said - the food and drinks were the best I’ve had on our trip through France so far. The rooms were large and out on the balcony were gorgeous views across the valley.

I would love to return here one day. the owners and other staff both in the hotel and beautiful restaurant were warm and welcoming and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I felt totally at ease during my time there. the swimming pool is beautiful!
we stayed for one night on our way South and the hotel was very conveniently located. staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved our evening meal. I would recommend the hotel just for this experience.
Good sized family room with two separate rooms. Clean. No air conditioner but they've supplied a fan. Receptionist was friendly. Parking free and easy. Playground straight opposite the hotel.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices.
The staff was friendly and welcoming.
I enjoyed the location of the hotel. In walking distance of the old town and a lovely river park.
