Great location just off the motorway. Basic but comfortable accommodation- quiet as building with rooms is set well back from the road. Room was clean and well equipped. Great shower and plenty of towels.
Didn’t eat dinner but menu looked good. Buffet breakfast was fresh and varied - good value.
Loads of food places short walk/drive away if you don’t want to eat in the hotel-not fancy but quick and easy if you’re tired - Chinese and bakery directly next door, pizza, diner and McDonalds just up the road. Also a massive hypermarket 2 mi a drive away for fuel and food etc.
Would stay again for value and convenience.

On vast manor estate with massive blue cedar trees and other greenery, tranquillity!
When I rang to reserve a table for our evening meal the restaurant was fully booked. However reception suggested a restaurant nearby, Bateau Ivre. Very helpful!
Wonderful golf course with great practice facilities

We couldn't have been more pleased with this location for a stop over on route to and from the Pyrenees. Our Hotel was on a golf course with lovely grounds in a very tranquil setting. We ate in our Hotel, which also had a lovely terrace bar. Nearby was a good sized supermarket so we could stock up on a few things before heading to the Channel Tunnel

Beautiful main building, which we stayed in.
Beautiful main building, which we stayed in.
Food at evening service was wonderful, expensive but worth it (and I'm fussy!). Eating on the terrace/outside available
Had a swimming pool, shut when we arrived due to some issue, but the receptionist phoned our room when it reopened as I had enquired when we would be able to use it.
Tea/coffee making facilities, but no milk :(
Seating outside near pond/fountain overlooking golf course with shade
The pool needs a bit more maintenance and attention. Bit dirty, loose slabs and no shade :(

The hotel food was very good.
The hotel food was very good. The pool was good if a bit small and the changing room was a bit basic but maybe better once the additions are finished. There is much that could be improved in and around the property. The grounds look neglected by comparison to the adjacent golf course. In the room it would be nicer to have proper cups and glasses instead of cardboard and plastic respectively especially in the light of the avowed eco stance the Group is following!
The location does require the use of a car but the are great places to visit, Chauvigy medieval cite, the Abbeye Saint Sevin (UNESCO site) and Poitiers.

The rooms (Orchard) are ideal for dogs. They have also been updated since our last stay there and are more modern and comfortable. The view from the terrasse when dining is amazing across a pretty pond and golf course. The main hotel is extremely pretty. The swimming pool is excellent (have used before) and is covered although the roof can be opened, although we didn't get a chance to use it this time as they have changed the check out time to 11am (see below).
We stayed for 4 nights as we were attending a wedding on the Saturday/Sunday at another location. The dual aspect room was fine, air con great, no problem with the dog, the staff were very helpful. The pool was virtually empty when I tried it, which was very restful. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, if we can, we will stay there again in the future.
Everything, The Room, View's, it was a Lovely Hotel, we Arrived on a Sunday we asked about the Restaurant, Sorry but its not open, But they Recommend a Restaurant that was 5mins away by car, and was good value for Money. Anyone that likes Golf this is a Lovely Hotel too Stay At. The Breakfast was Lovely and a Lovely Room even our Pet was welcome. Staff Supberb.
Perfect for families. The hotel is about 10 kms from Poitiers, but has a golf court, an indoor swimming pool and a small spa that offers plenty of opportunities for all members of the family. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room for 2 adults and two children, which was very spacious. The breakfast is great.
The staff were excellent - helpful and friendly; they are a credit to the hotel. We were in the old building which was both interesting and challenging. The view across the golf course was lovely and there was plenty of space to walk our dog. Parking was free and the hotel was easy to find.
It was beautiful. Great location. For us the staff made our stay even more special. The young chap on reception was just fantastic he went over and above for us from the minute we checked in. Also the barman was a credit to the hotel with his service. The pool is lovely too.
We were travelling with young children and breaking up a long journey, so this hotel suited our purpose. The location was easy to find. Our room was a good size and the pool was very much appreciated. The bar, reception and dining room were beautiful spaces.
Lovely hotel, well situated for an overnight stop on the way back to the ferry. A comfortable bed in a nice room and a good evening meal served on a nice terrace.
