Mirmande is adorable and so fun to walk around in.
Mirmande is adorable and so fun to walk around in. The tourist office gave us a self guided walking map that meanders up moss covered stairways and down narrow cobblestone streets. Even in the off season we were able to get amazing dinners. I recommend having a car as it costs around 50 euros to get to and from the train station by taxi, but it is worth a visit. I recommend staying at Hotel de Mirmande.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
Very beautiful historic village.
Very beautiful historic village. Such a nice atmosphere and a very good choice of restaurants. I was on a one night stopover between Switzerland and the south of France . It proved to be an ideal place to break the journey.

The room was newly decorated and very large. Facilities were excellent (including an enormous fan) and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. She remembered that we had requested a booking at their sister restaurant (which was excellent) and had it all organised. Breakfast was served in the lovely courtyard out the back and definitely worth the additional expenditure.KarenAustralia
