The location was off the main tourist grid, which we appreciated, but we had no problem finding it despite our lack of familiarity with the place. We really enjoyed the gardens, which were idyllic. The breakfast was great and I suspect that the 5 or 6 different types of jam all came from fruit raised on the farm. The owners were responsive when we had to return for a forgotten mobile phone.

I can't really say much about Montpeyroux because it was only one leg of a 5-day trip to Spain from Belgium, so we didn't have much time to see the local sights. The area is definitely interesting, however, and it would be worthwhile to visit it again in more depth.
