This is a lovely place to stay if you’re on a bike (velo) tour. Our party of four cyclists had one large room on two levels with 4 separate beds, a safe place to store bikes overnight, a fabulous evening meal, a cooked breakfast and even a small pool in which to unwind at the end of the day. Easy walk into town.
This 15th-century château is located in the Dordogne countryside, a 5-minute drive from Brantôme and is set on 160-hectare tree-filled park with an outdoor swimming pool.

This is a delightful hotel to stay in. The ambiance is excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the dinner in the restaurant was one of the best we have experienced and enjoyed in an hotel. Breakfast was first rate too. The newly opened spa is, together with the 12 metre outdoor pool, a 'must'!

The property is in a superb position in a beautiful medieval setting. The charming river flows right past the terrace that forms one side of the building. And, for a premium, our room was large, airy, with plentiful large windows and had a balcony right above the riverbank.

Au Pied du Chateau is located right in the heart of Bourdeilles which has a couple of little convenience stores, restaurants and bars. The house was clean when we arrived and it is well set up for cooking and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi was extremely reliable. The Bourdeilles vibe is very friendly and we couldn’t fault Jim, the owner of the house, who responded quickly to any messages. The welcome information book provided by Jim is also very thorough. It shows you how to work appliances and also gives you tourist information about the surrounding area. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Au Pied du Chateau and recommend it highly to anyone interested in visiting the area.
Boasting a garden and views of garden, Château de Gouyas is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Montagrier, 5 km from Bourdeilles Castle.

After a very difficult week professionally, the universe decided that what we really needed was a night here. And how right it was. We loved our stay from the second we arrived. Shelby and Dom are as welcoming and full of bonhomie as the house is stylish and individual. We left floating on air perfectly equipped to deal with whatever life throws at us.
