Our room was so large and comfortable. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud. The views to the garden were a joy to wake up to and if it was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the lovely pool. Breakfast was perfect and it was so lovely to meet the owners, Matt and Helene.

Our apartment was beautiful - spacious, the peace and quiet, big rooms, gorgeous views over glorious countryside and the history of it all. Set in the heart of a stunning village. Guillume was very welcoming and an excellent host. Unfortunately the restaurants were closed so went to next village for a takeaway - which was delicious and the local tabac allowed us to eat it there with a glass of wine! Lots of parking. Quick, pretty drive to main route south.

We've been here before so we knew what to expect. A good location, clean and tidy.

This hotel was very charming with lots of character. It is perfectly located with an open air car park directly in front of it.
It is also a five minute walk from the train station and very easily accessible to all the main parts of the town.
It is beautifully run by its owner who made every effort to look after us and give us all the information we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of food and was good value for money.
Our room was incredibly comfortable with every possible facility. The bathroom was also great and had a bath as well as a shower. We had a room at the back which was delightfully quiet so we could open the windows.

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.
What a find. Minutes from the motorway but a beautiful village with a fantastic hotel. Lots of character and beautifully modernised. The receptionist/waiter/barman was very professional and pleasant and spoke perfect English. The food was excellent - couldn’t have been more impressed.
The hotel was very comfortable and the pool was a real bonus. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast was good. The hotel is an excellent location being so close to the autoroute.
Easily located Hotel just off A20 in a very pretty ancient village between Limoges to Brive. Extremely clean & very friendly staff. Will certainly stay there again.
