Lovely welcoming reception area and staff.
Room and bathroom spotlessly clean, towels soft, bed so comfy and everything thought of.
Grounds and pool very well cared for.
Couldn't fault it at all and would certainly recommend and visit without doubt when next in area.

The house is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Nick and Kate were kind & generous and made the stay feel really special, and Nick was kind enough to give us a lift to Le Petit Train Jaune when the bus didn’t turn up. Would love to visit again in the future.

Breakfast was great. It is difficult to find due to the oneway system. You need to go past it, turn left, then left again and park in public parking. Then you can go back around the front and knock on the door. There is private parking at the back but he needs to let you in.

The pictures somehow don't do it justice, it's even nicer than it looks on here. Spacious, everything one needs is there, but no clutter. Easy to find and access. Host is also very quick to respond to questions. We had a lovely stay.

The space was at the northern edge of town, but still walking distance from the train station and all the shops. The host was very kind and did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He truly went above and beyond to help us with everything he could.

Great town in the heart of the Pyrenees with easy access and great services, facilities and restaurants. Easy walks from the town itself and surrounding areas easy to get to. 45 minutes to the coast and 45 minutes to ski resorts, what more could you want?!

This a charming city, in a less travelled region of France, that is filled with hidden cultural and architectural wonders: There is a slough of excellent culinary gems, that remain undiscovered, but are well worth the search. There is also a world reknown music festival honoring genious cellist Pau Casals:

Small town nestled under the foothills of the Pyrenees...
Small town nestled under the foothills of the Pyrenees Orientales with views of the Pic de Canigou. The town itself is unremarkable and has a one way system due to its narrow main street. It was hard to find a good place to eat as many restaurants were closed (maybe still from the lockdown a few weeks back) but eventually settled on l'Alegría with its very friendly host for a reasonable meal. Prades is famous for its music festivals especially the classical festival held in August founded by Pablo Casals. Well situated for hikes in the area but not much else to recommend it.

infortunatelly this is a bad time for France, cause the Corronavirus all the shop were closed, restaurant as well. I would like the Catalane plate for dinner unstead we have only pizza available.,,but in the other circontance it was plenty restaurants, Im sure to find something better to eat next time.
This was the most comfortable stay during our couple weeks in France! Our hosts could not have been more thoughtful or kinder- and spoke English very well. The place is stunningly beautiful with period pieces throughout. The front porch was delightful for a glass of wine but it’s hard to compete with the dining room and back yard to watch the clouds flirt with the Pyrenees. A quick few miles to the yellow train and a pleasant stroll to lovely restaurants. Next time we will stay a couple weeks and really explore the area!
The location of the hotel is spectacular, we could enjoy beatiful autumn view of the mountains. We have rented the studio, which was perfectly clean and really nice, with small kitchen to prepare our meals.
We appreciated the small bar at the reception after the arrival too :)
The owners are lovely, they gave us many tips what to visit around. The place has great family atmosphere really far from the usual hotel experience.
Definitely recommended, they really deserve the highest rating.
Lovely comfortable room in an Art Deco house. Fascinating architecture and beautiful garden, although due to winter weather couldn’t take advantage. Host went out of her way to make this stay extra special: super breakfast and other extras. I don’t normally favour private accommodation over hotels, but Maison 225 host’s understands the importance of service. Highly recommend.
We loved it here and could easily have stayed longer.
Amazing views over Mt Canigou - the colours change throughout the day.
Lovely relaxing place after a manic few days in Barcelona
We enjoyed visiting the 5 most beautiful villages of France all within 30 minutes nof Prades.
Lovely boulangerie next door and the pizza place down the road is reasonably priced.
Located very centrally in Prades, and happy to have a bicycle taken up to the room. Very helpful front desk. No dinner when I visited, but the central square (under 5 mins) has plenty of very nice restaurants -- and is very charming. Breakfast was generous, and in a nice sized room.
Wonderful and cozy place, very well located, a walk distance to the city center of Prades. Feeling like home, with the warm hospitality of the owners, always ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Excellent breakfast and a lovely room. Highly recommended!
Refurbished clean rooms with comfy real kingsize bed and view to pool. Nice bathroom amenities of "nuxe " brand.
The hotel was not fully booked at all, so it was very quiet at night time.
Free safe parking. Good WiFi. Restaurant in hotel and close to shops.
A fantastic hotel with a beautiful view of the Canigou. A lovely pool and a great breakfast. What makes this place extra special are the charming hosts, Bruno and Alex. They could not have been been more welcoming and helpful. Genuinely lovely people!
The hotel is right in the heart of Prades, so the center is less than a minute walking. There is free public parking 2 minutes walking from the hotel, and also some free street parking at night. The room has a fan.
Spectacular view of the mountain. The property is in a landscaped compound, so feels very secure and private. Get the Canigou room - beautiful terrace deck. Many good day trips from Prades.
Wonderful location and very accommodating host. Located 5-10 min walk from center of Prades, itself a small jewel. Quiet, tranquil neighborhood and house had everything we needed.
