Christine and Francis went out of their way to make us comfortable. They gave us tea and cake on our arrival. The room was comfortable and everything was thought of. It's a 20 minute drive I to St Omer where we had a very good dinner. Highly recommend Chambre during Hamel.

Renty itself a beautiful village nothing much other than tge basics but a beautiful place to visit and see. However the camp site was not as glorious the chalet was not as expected it was drab and not very clean at all all the beds had very old dirty mattresses that contain bed bugs we were severely bitten and still have not healed yet . The garden was fenced off and the gate was in poor condition broken and rotten. Amenities were OK I'd you could use them . Renty has a lovely church with history and a mo ument to show respect and remembrance to the fallen of the great war that alone is worth the trip just find somewhere other than tentative camp site to stay
