The food was amazing! We paid extra for two dinners and by far these were our favorite meals of our entire trip. Great home cooked Normandy fare, with classic French breakfasts to boot. Our host also offered a day long VIP tour of WWII sites in his WWII era jeep, that was truly a unique experience. Fantastic hosts!

The house is beautiful and comfortable with all the items you need to cook, relax, and enjoy this area! The hosts are very kind and helpful and addressed all our questions and needs. The children loved the upstairs area which was very spacious and comfortable. The weather was cooler so we only played on the beach and sand but we can imagine it's lovely in summer to enjoy the water too. There is a large patio and bbq and you are literally ON the beach! Overall I'd highly recommend this property for a wonderful time in Normandy!

The most warmest welcome; and fondest farewell; I felt like I had spent my three days here with family instead of in a hotel. Absolutely lovley hosts. Each morning was greeted with a plentiful continental breakfast and good friendly conversation. It is absolutely clear that the passion and enthusiasm that you both have for making each guest welcome into your home is equally as high for that of making sure they get to experience as much of the local history as possible during their stay. My room "82nd Airborne" was great and slept so comfortably each night. As the location is 5 minutes walk from the town square the ambient noise outside is minimal during busy times. Spacious bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean.

The most important element of all was the host: Rémy could not have been more warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was genuinely interested in chatting to us. His family is also charming, include the pocket rocket that is Hippolyte! We all fell in love with him. This was the perfect base for a brief explorative tour of the D-Day story in Normandy. The manoir itself is beautifully decorated and furnished, with plenty of authentic, wonderful architectural details, and set in a lush green landscape. It was a tranquil spot and literally a stone's throw from Utah Beach. But I haven't mentioned breakfast! What a feast!! Both for the eyes and the stomach. Rémy prides himself on sourcing the most wonderful dairy products and pastries from the local area and each morning was an absolute treat. We loved our stay at Manoir de Pierreville and could not recommend it highly enough.
