Location was difficult to access but rural and idyllic. Historically fascinating. No dining facilities available but the young lady in charge made every effort to compensate

The different rooms were colorful and had a big garden with music and beautiful decorations. I particularly enjoyed the monkey lamps and the green room at the entrance.

A quiet historic small town close to the autoroute, chateaux, rivers and other pretty towns with cafés and restaurants. We picnicked at lunch times on the banks of the river Vienne at Chinon and again on the banks of the river at Iles de Bouchard. The history of the chateau at Sainte Maure is very interesting it being on the main ancient route from Paris to the south of France. the hotel was an old "poste house" .

Visited en route to Spain.
Visited en route to Spain. Unfortunately this Hotel seems to have fallen on difficult times. Its clear that it was once a lovely place to stay. Now it is falling apart with a partly drained and algae filled pool, overgrown gardens and generally looks poorly maintained. I must stress that its not advertised with a pool but it is visible and detracts from ones enjoyment. Despite this the bed was clean and comfy and the room clean. We wouldn't stay here again.

Great place to stop overnight whilst touring and during its goat festival. The town is like many towns in the area. A small old core surrounded by more modern. Doesn’t take long to explore on foot. Didn’t try any restaurants as all booked up due to festival. Appears to be 3 in the town. Small children playground close to b&b. From there we visited Azay-le-Rideau and fortress Chinon

Beautifully authentic, large gardens and heated pool - with towelling robes which are provided. Needs a little TLC (tile missing on bath panel, bed squeaky, garden overgrown, entrance to private car park needs vegetation cut back, hotel name sign needed outside - these comments are observations to help and not criticisms) but aside this I would definitely stay again as owner very welcoming, lovely walk and we could bring the dog, beautiful building and coffee machine in room was excellent! Thank you.
Ideal location on the way to Spain. The hotel is very old (converted old post office) but very well restored, the room was very comfortable and looked very nice. New and comfortable bathroom too.
Apart from this we had a nice dinner and a good breakfast was served.
Our dogs were very welcome and the hotel has a very big garden where we good walk the dogs, but outside there was also plenty of space to walk the dogs.
The hotel is in the middle of a fairly non descript French Market town. Plenty of eating places around. We ate in a Moroccan fast food place, directly opposite the hotel. Breakfast was okay. Staff were lovely, some English spoken. Hotel itself was a little tired but characterful. I liked it. Safe parking for motorcycles.
Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms , very clean and full of character and slightly quirky, with a pretty cottage garden.
Evening meal was good and reasonably priced
Lovely pool area which unfortunately we didn’t get to use
I loved everything about this hotel: the gentle chaos of the garden, the art everywhere, the architecture, the decor, my lovely room, and the lovely staff. Dinner was excellent too.
The hosts were super friendly and the breakfast was a treat. Cute hotel and super comfortable. The courtyard at the back was great for the kids.
Would definitely stay again.
